Broadgate Central Welcomes Eight New Brands in Autumn Retail Avalanche

The City of London’s new Broadgate Central mall is set to undergo a significant transformation this autumn with an "avalanche of arrivals," as eight new retail businesses, including several prominent brands, prepare to open their doors. Operated by British Land and conveniently located near Liverpool Street station, the shopping centre has successfully secured 16,000 sq ft in new retail and dining deals. This expansion brings the new retail and leisure space across the ground and lower ground floors of the recently completed 1 Broadgate to an impressive 79% let or under offer, with considerable interest noted for the remaining units.
Among the exciting new tenants, health and beauty giant Boots is introducing Boots Fragrance, marking its first-ever fragrance-only boutique, a unique concept for the brand. High-end beauty and lifestyle brand Molton Brown is also expanding its London footprint, as is heritage menswear specialist Moss. The lineup of new arrivals is further completed by hair removal expert Strip and the well-established barber Murdock London, promising a diverse range of services and products for visitors.
These latest additions will join an already robust roster of high-profile fashion brands that have previously committed to the scheme. Shoppers can already look forward to visiting popular names such as Mango, the luxury menswear brand Luca Faloni, sophisticated women's fashion retailer Hobbs, and the contemporary womenswear label Whistles, establishing Broadgate Central as a premier fashion destination.
Broadgate Central itself is an expansive and strategically important retail and hospitality hub, encompassing the ground and lower ground floors of 1 Broadgate and 100 Liverpool Street. With a total of 120,000 sq ft dedicated to retail and hospitality space, it serves as a vital pedestrian link, seamlessly connecting Liverpool Street station to the bustling Finsbury Avenue Square, creating a dynamic and accessible urban environment.
Kelly Cleveland, Head of Real Estate and Investment at British Land, expressed enthusiasm regarding the ongoing success, stating, “We’re seeing fantastic leasing momentum across Broadgate, with a diverse mix of retail and leisure brands choosing the campus to grow their presence in central London. These latest lettings build on recent announcements and reflect the enduring appeal of Broadgate’s location, connectivity and curated offer.” Her comments underscore the deliberate strategy behind curating a compelling retail experience for the central London demographic.
The new arrivals further strengthen the broader Broadgate complex, which boasts an impressive 289,000 sq ft of dedicated retail, hospitality, and leisure space. This comprehensive destination already features a strong roster of esteemed brands, including global fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger, premium beauty specialist Space NK, and the popular jeweller Monica Vinader, ensuring a rich and varied offering that caters to a wide array of tastes and preferences.
