Solférino, Interparfums’ ambitious first venture into haute parfumerie, has officially launched its debut boutique at 310 Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris’s prestigious 1st arrondissement. Following its introduction over the summer, the brand now offers a dedicated physical space adorned in the distinctive colors of its new fragrance collection, inviting visitors into a world of sophisticated scents.

The elongated boutique immediately captivates with its design, which reimagines the elegance of Parisian private mansions. Bathed in natural light, the space meticulously combines traditional elements such as refined stonework, intricate moldings, and classic chequered floors, creating an atmosphere of timeless luxury. Discovery tables are strategically placed to encourage visitors to explore Solférino’s inaugural range of eaux de parfum and accompanying scented candles.

Throughout the boutique, the walls are adorned with gilded displays and lush green velvet alcoves, beautifully showcasing the collection. These are complemented by elegant mirrors and illuminated screens, enhancing the visual experience. A significant central display thoughtfully separates the 30-square-meter retail area from a more intimate, 18-square-meter private lounge. This exclusive space is designed for a more personalized experience, finished in soothing cream tones and plush carpeting, underscoring the brand’s commitment to an elevated client journey. Solférino Paris emphasizes that its fragrance experts guide each visitor through a sensory exploration, highlighting exceptional materials, emotions, and Parisian inspirations.

The brand's name, Solférino, holds a special significance, derived from the Haussmann-style headquarters that Interparfums inaugurated in 2022 on the eponymous Rue de Solférino. Solférino Paris's debut collection features ten distinct gender-neutral eaux de parfum. Each fragrance draws inspiration from a different iconic Parisian location, artfully linking scent with specific moments and memories. For instance, No. 8 evokes the tenderness of a kiss at Place Vendôme, No. 9 captures the essence of love at first sight on Quai Voltaire, and No. 1 is inspired by a tranquil daydream along the Seine.

These exquisite fragrances are available in two sizes to suit different preferences: a 75ml bottle priced at €160, and a larger 125ml bottle retailing for €260. The collection’s focus on gender-neutrality and its deep connection to Parisian culture position Solférino as a distinctive new player in the high-end perfumery market.

Solférino’s launch comes at a period of robust performance for its parent company, Interparfums. The group reported a strong first half, with operating income reaching €103.8 million, a notable increase from €92.7 million in the previous year. This strategic expansion into haute parfumerie aligns with Interparfums' broader business strategy, which recently included the closure of its Rochas fashion business. The company has also adjusted its 2025 sales forecast upwards to an impressive €900 million, underscoring its confidence in its portfolio and future growth trajectory.
