2025 Bids Farewell to a Pantheon of Entertainment Legends

The entertainment world grieved the passing of several iconic figures throughout 2025.

The initial six months of the year brought sorrowful announcements regarding the demise of David Lynch, Michelle Trachtenberg, George Foreman, Val Kilmer, and Duck Dynasty personality Phil Robertson.

Culinary personality Anne Burrell of Food Network fame died in June. The summer months delivered unfortunate tidings, with devotees grieving the departures of music icon Ozzy Osbourne, wrestling titan Hulk Hogan, and Cosby show alumnus Malcolm-Jamal Warner in July, succeeded by music industry executive Brandon Blackstock in August. September marked the passing of esteemed actor Robert Redford.

October commenced with reports of the passing of So You Think You Can Dance season 4 champion Joshua Allen and renowned zoologist Jane Goodall. Later in the same month, Diane Keaton, Grammy-decorated R&B vocalist D’Angelo, and Kiss's lead axeman Ace Frehley also passed away.
