The entertainment world grieved the loss of several iconic figures throughout 2025.

The initial six months of the year brought the sorrowful announcements of the passing of David Lynch, Michelle Trachtenberg, George Foreman, Val Kilmer, and Duck Dynasty personality Phil Robertson.

During the summer months, we bid farewell to Anne Burrell, Ozzy Osbourne, Hulk Hogan, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and Brandon Blackstock. The month of September marked the passing of acclaimed actor Robert Redford.

October commenced with reports of the deaths of So You Think You Can Dance season 4 champion Joshua Allen and celebrated zoologist Jane Goodall. Later in that same month, Diane Keaton, Grammy-adorned R&B vocalist D’Angelo, MLB player Jesús Montero, former NFL star Doug Martin, and actresses Isabelle Tate, June Lockhart, and Prunella Scales also passed away.
