2025's Farewell A Star-Studded Lineup of Departed Icons
The year 2025 witnessed the passing of several iconic figures from the entertainment world.
During the initial six months, the sad reports emerged detailing the departures of director David Lynch, actress Michelle Trachtenberg, boxing legend George Foreman, acclaimed actor Val Kilmer, and Duck Dynasty personality Phil Robertson.
The summer months marked the demise of chef Anne Burrell, music icon Ozzy Osbourne, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and talent manager Brandon Blackstock. As September arrived, the world learned of the passing of esteemed actor Robert Redford.
October saw the loss of renowned zoologist Jane Goodall, celebrated actress Diane Keaton, and Grammy-winning R&B artist D’Angelo, among others. The subsequent month, 24-year-old Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland passed away, followed by Oscar-nominated actress Pauline Collins, aged 85, who succumbed to her battle with Parkinson’s disease.
The month of November commenced with the passing of actress Sally Kirkland and former ABC News reporter Jim Avila; additionally, musician Gary “Mani” Mounfield and former NBA player Rodney Rogers also departed.
