Elizabeth Castravet, known from 90 Day Fiancé, has shared a heartfelt homage to her father, Chuck Potthast, following his passing.

“A profound tragedy befell our family a fortnight ago, leaving us utterly devastated. My kind, affectionate, and devoted father ascended to heaven. We are currently grappling with how to rebuild our lives and progress in his absence,” shared Elizabeth, 34, in a collaborative Instagram update with Andrei Castravet on Sunday, November 23.

Her statement concluded with a plea: “We kindly request respect for our privacy as we navigate this incredibly trying period.”

Chuck Potthast appeared in numerous installments of 90 Day Fiancé, giving audiences a glimpse into the evolving dynamics of Elizabeth and Andrei's relationship since their introduction in season 5.

In a previous exclusive conversation with Us Weekly two years ago, Andrei humorously remarked that Elizabeth's extended family bears a resemblance to “a cult.”

In contemplating her familial interactions, Elizabeth detailed the origins of their estrangement.

Although Elizabeth ultimately recognized that her family members were “hindering” her, she suggested that a reconciliation might be feasible “far down the line.” Nevertheless, at that juncture, Elizabeth indicated her satisfaction with the current separation.
