Alexia's Wedding Day Tearjerker: Parents Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Tender Moment Steals the Show

Alexia, the eldest daughter of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, was touched by a tender interaction between her parents at her recent nuptials.

Following Alexia, 29, posting footage of herself and her husband, Jake Zingerman, on the dance floor from their recent festivities, an online user captured an image of Richards, 56, and Umansky, 55, gazing and smiling at one another.

“And then there is this,” the user commented on TikTok next to the picture, to which Alexia replied, “Crying.”

Alexia and Zingerman exchanged vows in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 6, surrounded by their family and friends. The couple’s relationship began in 2019. Alexia and Zingerman announced their engagement in 2024, less than a year after cohabiting.

“I am incredibly thrilled. They are simply the most charming pair. Without a doubt, they are soulmates. They have been inseparable since elementary school, and their bond is truly endearing. I am so thankful to be gaining a son-in-law. It’s unbelievable,” Richards shared with Parade in 2024.

She added, “He sought my approval. Subsequently, he involved me in selecting the engagement ring. It was endearing how he included me. I accompanied him to various establishments, and his thoughtfulness in involving me throughout that entire experience was truly lovely.”

Richards and Umansky, however, parted ways in 2023 following 27 years of matrimony. The couple, who are parents to Alexia along with daughters Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17, have not yet initiated divorce proceedings. (Richards is also the mother of Farrah Aldjufrie, 36, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.)

“We still haven’t formally filed for divorce or anything of that nature, but … we’ve engaged in more discussions about, ‘What steps should we take, should I remain in my current residence, should we sell our home and each purchase new properties, or should we retain the house given its unique value and and simply pursue separate paths?’” Richards disclosed during a February installment of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. “We are addressing these matters now, which was not the case previously.”

She further stated, “I believe no precise guide exists for how this process must unfold. I notice myself becoming unusually protective and defensive of him because individuals tend to speak negatively about him, assuming it would please me. I respond with, ‘You don’t comprehend our dynamic, we’re fine.’”
