Alexis Bellino Marries John Janssen in Romantic Laguna Beach Ceremony

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino has tied the knot with John Janssen.

The pair exchanged their wedding promises surrounded by loved ones at an exclusive location in Laguna Beach, California, on Friday, October 3.

“Our vision was for a dreamlike, romantic, rustic chic atmosphere with a touch of natural sophistication,” Bellino, 48, shared with People in a statement released the next day. “The chosen location offered the ideal blend of picturesque scenery and seclusion, situated between the canyon and the coastline. It truly felt like a celebration in an enchanted seaside garden.”

In the period preceding her nuptials, Bellino offered glimpses into her forthcoming celebration, teasing details about the “stunningly beautiful gown” she planned to don.

“My attire is something truly unexpected. It’s not white, and that’s the only hint I’ll give,” she revealed exclusively to Us Weekly in August. “It hails from Modern Bride in Scottsdale, Arizona, and I anticipate shedding tears when I wear the dress. I expect to be emotional on my wedding day as I slip it on, considering the immense care and affection poured into its creation.”

Bellino further hinted at the atmosphere and experience awaiting the fortunate attendees who received an invitation to her momentous day.

“Our wedding is entirely focused on indulging our guests,” she shared with her dear friend and McBee Dynasty personality Galyna Saltkovska during the September 25 installment of iHeartRadio’s “I Do, Part 2” podcast. “I believe that’s why John and I are particularly thrilled, because it’s essentially one grand celebration.”

Bellino, personally, ensured she commemorated her impending marriage with her dearest female friends in the months preceding the main event.

In September, she organized a “nearlyweds” gathering in Las Vegas. The month prior, she enjoyed a “non-traditional” bridal shower at Truly Blessed Jewels in Orange County alongside Tamra Judge, Jo De La Rosa, and other companions.

Bellino and Janssen — with Janssen having previously been in a relationship with The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Shannon Beador — initially ignited speculation about a romance in December 2023 following an introduction by shared acquaintances. The couple subsequently made their official public appearance on the red carpet in March 2024 at the DirecTV Oscars Viewing Party in Los Angeles.

The Bravo personality confessed to an initial reluctance about publicizing their relationship. However, she eventually decided against concealing her affection for a man who brought her immense joy.

“I felt a degree of apprehension, largely due to the scrutiny our relationship has faced,” Bellino confided to Us back then. “It began as a platonic bond, evolved into something deeper, and has led us to this point. [Moreover,] social media can indeed be quite detrimental. It has been challenging, but we have now definitively chosen to confront the situation head-on and proceed with full commitment.”

Notwithstanding any unfavorable commentary, both Bellino and Janssen endeavored to disregard the negativity and prioritize their family life.

“Regarding those who criticized us, I recall John and I often looking into each other’s eyes, both tearful and distressed by the extent of the animosity directed at our love story, which is, in reality, quite strong, meaningful, and wonderful,” Bellino explained to Us in August. “Our response was simply, ‘Time will tell. It will endure.’ And isn't that what marriage embodies? Enduring through time. Because, truly, if you can discover love and continue to build upon it even when you're at your lowest point and facing the most opposition, and still emerge victorious? That’s evidence of a genuine and authentic connection.”
