Alix Earle Confirms Separation from Braxton Berrios in Emotional Statement: "We Are Pursuing Different Paths"
Alix Earle offered a candid and emotional account as she publicly addressed her separation from NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios for the first time.
Speaking emotionally to her followers on TikTok on Saturday, December 13, she confirmed: “Braxton and I are no longer together.” She added, “We have been maintaining a long-distance relationship since approximately June and haven’t been able to spend much time together. It has proved extremely challenging for me.”
Earle noted that her participation in Dancing With the Stars had inspired her to consider residing in Los Angeles, even potentially relocating there permanently.
She admitted, “That realization was frightening because it implied we wouldn't live near each other. Additionally, I feel a strong need to prioritize personal growth right now.” She concluded, “I simply don't believe I can fulfill Braxton's needs.”

The host of the “Hot Mess with Alix Earle” podcast elaborated, “I want him to be with someone who can offer constant support and availability. He hadn't necessarily demanded this from me, but I consistently felt guilty.”
Earle expressed that parting ways with the 30-year-old Houston Texans wide receiver was particularly challenging, as she views him as her "best friend."
She confessed, “It simply feels as though we are pursuing different paths at the moment, and that's difficult.” She emphasized, “We remain amicable, and I ask that no one criticize him or treat him poorly.”
The media personality admitted to engaging in so much self-doubt that she questioned whether her emotions were even rational.
She stated, “Ultimately, I decided to trust my intuition.” She continued, “This has been exceptionally challenging. It’s not about drama; neither he nor I did anything wrong. It just didn’t seem like the relationship was functional at this specific time.”
Earle refuted claims that Berrios's inability to attend her Dancing With the Stars performances because of his NFL commitments was a factor in their separation.
On December 6, Us Weekly first reported that the pair had ended their relationship after a two-year duration.
An insider informed Us that “they spent most of their relationship geographically separated, making it difficult to manage.” The source added that “the decision to separate was mutual.”
Following this, Us discovered that "distance played a significant role" in the relationship’s deterioration over recent months.
A source explained, “She desires to spend more time in LA, whereas Braxton is based in Florida,” noting that “they recognized they were diverging as a couple.”
Influencer Alix Earle Impresses with Minidress Following Berrios Separation
Berrios appeared to address the breakup lightly on Thursday, December 11, when he posted a new photo on Instagram with the caption: “What did I miss?”
After a follower responded that he had missed “every single performance of Alix’s” during Dancing With the Stars, Berrios clarified: “I would have attended every one if possible; unfortunately, I cannot travel during the season.”
Concurrently, Earle had suggested she was experiencing difficulties even prior to sharing her emotional TikTok video on Saturday.
Over a TikTok video posted on Wednesday, Earle wrote: “Am I experiencing frontal lobe development because I’m about to turn 25, and typically I obsess over throwing the most extravagant party?” She added, “All I desire is to exercise, meditate, play card games, and engage in meaningful conversations with those closest to me.”
She captioned the post by saying, “Perhaps I'm maturing, or perhaps I'm simply having a very tough time. Maybe both.”
