Alix Earle Slams Fake Jaxson Dart DM Rumors After Braxton Berrios Split

Influencer Alix Earle has addressed claims that New York Giants rookie Jaxson Dart contacted her via direct message following her separation from Braxton Berrios.

On Sunday, December 7, Earle, 24, took to TikTok to dismiss the rumors, writing, “What is this fake photoshopped DM u guys are posting? 1. That never happened. 2. That wouldn’t be on my story.”

Just hours after the news broke regarding Earle’s split from Berrios, 30, a screenshot allegedly taken from the influencer’s close friend’s Instagram Story began circulating widely. In the supposed message, Dart's official Instagram account, belonging to the 22-year-old athlete, purportedly sent the text, “Hey u single now ?”

The alleged text from Earle, overlaying the screenshot, read, “It hasn’t even been 12 hours.”

Several sources exclusively verified to Us Weekly on Saturday, December 6, that Earle and the Houston Texans player ended their two-year relationship.

“Majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate,” an insider told Us. “They mutually agreed on the split.”

Earle’s representatives could not be reached for comment.

The influencer was first linked to Berrios in May 2023, following his separation from Sophia Culpo, who had previously accused him of infidelity. Berrios denied the allegations.

Earle, for her part, asserted on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast later that year that Berrios and Culpo, 28, “were not together” when she began a casual romance with him. Earle also recounted “bawling” her “eyes out” to her friends while reading comments about the cheating rumors.

In November 2023, Earle confirmed that she and Berrios had made their relationship official while appearing on a live taping of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with Alex Cooper in Chicago. When Cooper, 31, asked Earle if she had a boyfriend, Earle replied, “I mean, yes.”

While Earle frequently attended NFL games to support Berrios, he was absent from the Dancing With the Stars ballroom as she competed with partner Val Chmerkovskiy for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Earle, however, gushed that Berrios served as her long-distance source of support.

“Braxton has been so supportive, but I didn’t show him the routine or anything,” Earle told Us after the premiere in September. “I wanted to keep it a surprise. I told him he was gonna have to tune in and see. I haven’t gotten the chance to talk to him yet just because we’ve been running around after the show. I’m excited to call him and see what he thinks.”

Although he couldn't attend DWTS in person due to his football commitments, Berrios encouraged his followers to vote for Earle leading up to the season 34 finale. (Earle and Chmerkovskiy, 39, ultimately finished in second place behind winners Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.)

“Finale tonight!! So proud of you and the way you’ve worked for this the last 3 months,” he posted via his Instagram Story. “Go have fun and bring that Mirrorball Trophy home!”

Berrios also sent a pre-recorded message to Earle during the broadcast, stating, “I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows. Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
