Alix Earle's Family Saga: From TikTok Fame to a Father's Public Scandal

Alix Earle comes from an extensive family, and their story holds many intricate layers.

Her “Get Ready With Me” TikTok videos propelled the social media personality to widespread fame in December 2022, leading to millions of new followers on the platform. Additionally, she secured a highly sought-after position on the 34th season of Dancing With the Stars, scheduled for 2025.

However, Alix’s early life was marked by controversy. During a September 2023 interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Alix revealed that her father, Thomas “TJ” Earle, had a publicly known affair with former escort Ashley Earle (previously Dupré).

“My dad had an affair with someone who was well-known for her profession involving sexual relationships with affluent individuals, and one of them was even the governor of New York,” Alix stated at the time. “She was very well known from that, and consequently, my dad’s affair became a very public event.”

Alix pinpointed the exact moment her father’s affair made headlines.

“I remember the day vividly. Paparazzi had appeared at my house, and my mom quickly got me and my sister out of the house [and] over to my cousins,” she recounted. “I didn’t realize they were paparazzi.”

Upon discovering what had happened, she “felt like my entire world shattered in that instant.”

Alisa Earle

Alix’s mother, Alisa, was previously married to TJ. In December 2000, they welcomed Alix, and their family expanded with the birth of their daughter Ashtin in April 2003. In 2008, news emerged that TJ was unfaithful to Alisa, and the couple divorced sometime while Alix was in 3rd grade.

Alisa has been featured in numerous of Alix’s TikTok videos, including dance routines, mother-daughter sleepovers, vacations, and evenings out.

In the “Call Her Daddy” episode, Alisa spoke glowingly about her eldest daughter, “I believe Alix inherited her spiritedness, kindness, and zest for having fun from me … and all the other positive qualities from her dad.”

TJ Earle

Alix’s father, TJ, holds the position of Vice President at two New Jersey-based companies specializing in the construction and soil recycling sectors.

Following his divorce from Alisa, he married Ashley in 2013. Since then, the couple has welcomed three children together: Izabel, Penelope, and Thomas.

Ashley Earle

After marrying TJ, Ashley became Alix’s stepmother and had children Izabel, Penelope, and Thomas. During the same “Call Her Daddy” episode, Alix reflected on how her connection with Ashley has evolved.

“When my stepmom began spending time with my dad after he had moved out, we were introduced to her — which was extremely strange. I was told that I had to be polite to this woman, and we had to be nice to her, and I wanted to tear her head off,” Alix shared. “It felt very odd because I felt like I was a 10-year-old needing to be more mature than someone [who was] 20, 30 years older than me.”

They are now “super close,” Alix disclosed to Elle in August 2023.

“One time, I was feeling overwhelmed about something personal, and I called my dad,” she remembered. “He said, ‘You should really discuss this with Ashley. She has experienced this before, media-related issues.’ It’s brought us closer because she’s able to guide me through it.”

Beyond her role in the Earle family, Ashley garnered significant media attention in 2008 during Eliot Spitzer’s prostitution scandal, which ultimately led to his resignation as the governor of New York.

Ashtin Earle

Alisa and TJ also welcomed Alix’s older sister during their marriage. Ashtin graduated from Tulane University in 2025 and has since continued her career in social media.

Izabel Earle

Izabel is the eldest daughter of TJ and Ashley. She has appeared in a number of Alix’s TikToks. She assists her sister in choosing outfits, observes her applying makeup, and demonstrates her personality through witty remarks.

“You all might see the ‘Get Ready With Me’s,’ but I witness what goes on behind the scenes,” she stated in the “Call Her Daddy” episode, dramatically flipping her hair. “And it’s absolute chaos!”

Penelope Earle

Penelope is the second child of TJ and Ashley. She occasionally applies her makeup alongside Alix in TikTok videos. In a May 2023 social media post, she mentioned her enjoyment of horseback riding and her desire to relocate to Miami with Alix. Alix expressed her affection at the time, “In terms of personalities, I think I’m probably closest to Penelope.”

Thomas Earle

Thomas is the youngest child of TJ and Ashley. In the “Call Her Daddy” episode, he commended Alix for consistently playing games with him. “I truly love her a great deal, and I appreciate that she plays dinosaurs with me,” he said.
