Amy Schumer's Trim Figure and Absent Wedding Ring Spark Social Media Buzz
Comedian Amy Schumer appeared to forgo her wedding band during a recent home photoshoot, where she showcased her noticeably trimmer physique.
The 44-year-old Schumer posted multiple images on Instagram on Sunday, November 30, featuring herself in a vibrant yellow minidress that highlighted her sculpted body. The comedic star was captured posing next to a carpeted set of stairs in the pictures.
Her wedding ring was conspicuously absent from the images, with her hands completely unadorned. The performer accessorized her ensemble with no other pieces of jewelry.

Schumer tied the knot with her spouse, Chris Fischer, in 2018. They are parents to a son, Gene David, who was born in May 2019. The couple's son, Gene, also made an appearance in the photographs, either coincidentally or intentionally popping into the frame behind his mother.

According to a report from People last month, Schumer and Fischer were “discreetly navigating typical challenges” common to many married pairs, further noting that both partners are “dedicated to their union.”
In the same year Schumer and Fischer welcomed their son, Gene, the accomplished chef received an autism diagnosis. After Fischer’s diagnosis became public, Schumer expressed her unwavering public support for her spouse.
“I recognized early on that my husband’s mind operated somewhat differently from my own. My husband was diagnosed with what was previously known as Asperger’s. He has an autism spectrum disorder. He is on the spectrum,” she shared during her 2019 Netflix stand-up special, Growing. “And upon his diagnosis, it became clear to me, in a humorous way, that every trait indicating he is on the spectrum was precisely why I fell deeply in love with him.”
Half a decade subsequent, Schumer engaged Fischer to serve as a writing advisor for her television series Life & Beth, a narrative partially inspired by her personal experiences.
“I make a conscious effort to be selective. Regarding my own life, certain elements, such as the birthing sequence, are largely factual,” she disclosed to The Hollywood Reporter in February 2024 concerning the personal themes she aims to explore in the Hulu show. “While some components are clearly heightened for effect, a portion is drawn directly from my experiences and discussions, and other parts emerge from the collective work of the writers and performers. It truly represents a blend of everyone’s realities.”

“Our collaboration is ongoing,” Schumer informed Us. “He offers tremendous support, and I would never utter anything he finds unsettling.”
In the early part of this year, Schumer disclosed her engagement in a health and well-being regimen, which included the use of a GLP-1 medication named Mounjaro, a pharmaceutical for weight reduction akin to Ozempic.
“I was prescribed estrogen and progesterone after realizing I was experiencing perimenopause, and my associated symptoms have since vanished,” she explained in a video posted to Instagram in March. “My hair feels thicker, my complexion has improved, I possess increased vitality, and I have a greater desire for intimacy, if you understand my implication. I am referring to sexual activity. Consequently, that has been wonderful, and Mounjaro has also yielded excellent results.”
