Ayesha Howard Accuses Anthony Edwards of Drone Surveillance and Private Investigators in Child Support Battle
Ayesha Howard, former partner of Anthony Edwards, has leveled accusations against him, alleging he employed private investigators and drone technology to gather intelligence on her, a story Us Weekly has learned exclusively.
Court papers submitted by the 38-year-old Howard on Friday, October 17, outlined the purported actions of the Minnesota Timberwolves player.
Edwards, 24, and Howard share a daughter, Aubri, who was born in October 2023. Howard is seeking a California judge to establish child support, whereas Edwards contends that Georgia is the appropriate jurisdiction for the matter. Though a Los Angeles judge sided with Edwards, Howard continues to contest that ruling.
Within her recent court submissions, Howard asserted that Edwards acknowledged “extensive surveillance” of her California residence during the legal proceedings. (Edwards’ legal representatives, however, contended that Howard was not a resident of California.)
“These actions were undertaken without the Court’s guidance or authorization,” she stated. “While profoundly alarming and intimidating, I recognize the Court’s jurisdiction over specific legal issues, which is why I’ve kept my remarks brief regarding the stalking and privacy invasion I, along with my family and neighbors, have endured.”
Howard declared, “The monitoring [Edwards] spoke of includes not just private investigators but also drone technology, utilized to observe me, my relatives, and people linked to me.”
She claimed the watchful observation has taken place in both California and Georgia. “Mr. Edwards is demonstrably prepared to take extreme measures, including intruding on privacy, to instill apprehension and exert dominance through his wealth, influence, and assets to secure his preferred outcome in this case. Security cameras at home recorded these intrusive tactics, with devices hovering at windows, breaching areas where a basic sense of privacy and security is expected. My family members and I have meticulously documented these occurrences,” Howard informed the tribunal.

In her legal submission, which forms part of her endeavor to secure child support in California, Howard remarked, “Given Mr. Edwards’ admissions, I humbly seek a restraining order.” (However, court documents indicate that Howard has not formally lodged a request for a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court, nor has one been issued to her.)
Howard proceeded, “The scope of this surveillance is deeply disturbing. I am prepared to advance with my life and my child!”
Furthermore, she asserted that Edwards and his legal counsel put forth multiple false statements concerning her during the court dispute, such as a claim that she was employed at a strip club until her pregnancy with Aubri.
“To discredit my California residency, [Edwards] erroneously alleged that I was working at Magic City, a Georgia strip club, until I conceived in 2024,” she stated. “Nevertheless, I have presented official records from the Atlanta Police Department’s Licenses and Permits Unit, which distinctly show the final date I possessed a permit for that venue,” Howard asserts she was not employed at Magic City during her pregnancy.
“I must also emphasize that Mr. Edwards has fathered four children with four separate women in merely 14 months. Such a behavioral pattern does not correspond with an individual who needs to be “tricked” into parenting,” Howard commented. “Instead, it underscores a persistent display of negligence, lack of accountability, and imprudence in his intimate conduct.”

Howard informed the court that she was a “susceptible woman who felt [her relationship with Edwards] was sincere and profound enough for her to confide in him.”
“Regrettably, I was wrong,” Howard declared.
As Us had earlier reported, Edwards informed the court that he had no plans to pursue custody or visitation rights for Aubri. He stated that the sole matter requiring resolution was child support. The NBA personality alleged that Howard desires child support to be determined in California, believing she would obtain a larger sum there than in Georgia.

Howard refuted these assertions, stating she resided in California, even though Edwards doubted her claim.
The former couple is slated for a court hearing on November 24.
