Bachelor Nation's Daisy Kent Finds Love and Engagement After The Bachelor

Daisy Kent might not have discovered her soulmate with Joey Graziadei, yet she ultimately committed to her partner, Thor Herbst.

Kent and Herbst first started their relationship after encountering each other at San Diego State University, four years prior to her appearance on The Bachelor. Although their initial romantic connection didn't last, the couple reignited their relationship following her departure from the 28th season of the ABC reality program, which aired in 2024.

Us Weekly revealed in April 2024 that Kent and Herbst were in a relationship, with an exclusive insider mentioning that the couple had “been exploring various places recently,” including a stop in Indio, California, for the Stagecoach music festival.

“It was only after the conclusion of the show that we chose to attempt a relationship,” Kent clarified on a May 2024 installment of the “Scrubbing In” podcast. “And we are pursuing it, and things are progressing well.”

Fans of Bachelor Nation first encountered Daisy when she competed for Joey's affection during the 28th season of The Bachelor. Daisy eventually chose to leave the show, and Joey proposed to Kelsey Anderson.

2020

On the May 2024 episode of the “Scrubbing In” podcast, Kent disclosed that she and Herbst had a brief relationship four years prior. “Our dating period wasn't extended, but we maintained a strong friendship afterward, and our entire college social circle remains very tight-knit,” she elaborated.

Kent mentioned that Herbst was the one who ended their first attempt at a relationship, but she described the separation as “the most beneficial outcome for both of us.” She further stated, “We simply weren't ready for a committed relationship, and I believe back then we were both very much caught up in college life. And simply desired to enjoy ourselves.”

April 2024

Us confirmed that Kent and Herbst had resumed their romantic connection. “He made the initial contact with her, and their relationship has been progressing very smoothly,” an insider exclusively informed Us.

During the same month, a witness informed Us that “she was beaming at him and they shared laughter” as they waited in queue for Vanderpump Rules personality James Kennedy’s performance at Diplo’s Honky Tonk during Stagecoach.

During a conversation with fellow Bachelor veteran Hannah Brown on the “Better Tomorrow” podcast, Kent refrained from explicitly naming her new partner but remarked that it feels “almost as if we've encountered each other again. We are considerably altered from our past selves.”

A few days subsequently, Kent featured Herbst by uploading footage of the two enjoying an ATV excursion. “Vrooooom,” she wrote as the caption for the video shared on her Instagram Story, which Herbst also posted.

Kent expressed her delight later that month, noting that Herbst had been amenable to their relationship becoming public.

“I contacted him before arriving here, and I simply asked, ‘I might be questioned about it. Would you prefer I keep silent?’ He responded, ‘Share whatever you wish. But if you ever feel uneasy, simply state that it's a private matter between us,’” she recounted during the May 2024 installment of the “Scrubbing In” podcast. “Therefore, he is extremely encouraging of my choices and everything related to this, yet he never once imagined this would occur.”

Herbst accompanied Kent when she performed the ceremonial first pitch at a San Diego Padres baseball match. A video posted on Kent’s Instagram showed Herbst with his arm encircling his girlfriend as they strolled through the sports arena.

March 2025

In a TikTok video dated March 2, Kent disclosed that she had officially relocated into Herbst’s home in Las Vegas.

“Thor and I are now cohabiting. We will observe how that progresses,” she joked. “We have recently settled in [and] we're, like, still unpacking,” Kent clarified regarding Herbst’s dwelling in Las Vegas. “We undertook a journey by car with many of my belongings from L.A., and then I flew in a few days prior, bringing additional items, and subsequently, we are planning another car trip around Monday or Tuesday to transport even more of my possessions.”
