Bachelor Nation's Jason Tartick Finds Love with Animal Rescue Founder Kathryn Hurley
Jason Tartick has discovered his ideal partner in his current girlfriend, Kathryn Hurley.
According to an exclusive report by Us Weekly in November 2025, the former Bachelor contestant is romantically involved with the founder and executive director of Wags & Walks Nashville. Tartick and Hurley first met previously this year when he welcomed his dog Teddy into his home from the charitable rescue organization, though the exact start of their romantic relationship remains unknown.
The couple appeared affectionate during the grand opening of Craig’s in Nashville earlier in November, as captured in an image posted on X by hospitality expert Dante Deiana. At that point, Us Weekly had contacted Tartick’s representative and Hurley seeking their statements.
Prior to his romance with Hurley, Tartick had been engaged to ex-Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe until their separation in 2023. He also had a connection with social media personality Kat Stickler, with whom he parted ways in 2024.

Hurley seems to share a close relationship with Abby Smyers, who is married to Dan Smyers, a member of the band Dan + Shay. In February 2025, Abby posted on Instagram a collection of short videos featuring her and Hurley interacting with dogs.
“I just looked up my symptoms online. It seems I simply needed to rescue some dogs from the shelter alongside my closest friend,” Abby captioned the video, further stating in the description, “A remedy for everything.”

For over ten years, Hurley held a managerial position at her family's ice cream business, Dairy King.

Hurley formerly resided in Los Angeles prior to her move to Nashville, the city where her animal rescue agency operates.
“My involvement with Wags & Walks began in Los Angeles, where I initially managed initiatives and cultivated my dedication to pairing individuals with animals,” she shared on LinkedIn. “Upon my transfer to Nashville, I had no intention of establishing my own rescue organization—until I encountered a mother pit bull and her offspring requiring assistance. That fortunate coincidence marked the inception of Wags & Walks Nashville in July 2019.”
