Bachelor Nation's Legal Woes From DUI to Domestic Violence Charges

Regrettably, encounters with the legal system seldom conclude as romantically as a bouquet of roses. Victoria Fuller, Amanda Stanton, and Chris Soules stand out as some of the Bachelor and Bachelorette participants who have garnered public attention due to their past legal entanglements.

Fuller, notably, was charged with driving under the influence in August 2017, a full two years prior to her pursuit of Peter Weber’s affection on The Bachelor. Reports from The Sun indicate she admitted guilt, resulting in one year of probation under supervision and an additional two years requiring unsupervised good conduct.

Meanwhile, Stanton featured in season 20 of The Bachelor, followed by appearances on seasons 3 and 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. She faced arrest for a single charge of domestic violence battery in Las Vegas in September 2018, an incident that occurred while she was dating former partner Bobby Jacobs. These accusations against Stanton were subsequently dismissed in December 2018. Their relationship with Jacobs concluded in April 2019.

In September 2025, reports emerged detailing the arrest of former contestant Rycroft on suspicion of DWI. The following month, Rycroft commented on the event via Instagram, stating that “life is truly difficult at present, and I am finding it hard, yet I am endeavoring to move onward.”
