Bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul Accuses Former Friend of Betrayal and Romantic Link to Child's Father

The recently announced Bachelorette, Taylor Frankie Paul, openly accused a former acquaintance of engaging in a romantic involvement with one of her past partners.

“I just discovered that the deceitful person in question IS intimately involved with my child's father, all while confiding in me about being left by a married man,” Taylor, 31, asserted in an Instagram post that was subsequently removed, according to a screenshot published by The Sun. “Such desperate individuals resort to desperate measures.”

Taylor refrained from identifying either her previously mentioned former friend or the “baby daddy.” Taylor has a son named Ever with Dakota Mortensen, and also two older offspring with her former spouse, Tate Paul. (Us Weekly has contacted Dakota for his perspective.)

Taylor promptly removed her social media message, subsequently implying that her erstwhile associate is “wishing for her ruin” in life.

“To anyone hoping for my failure, please just keep your distance from me AND anyone connected to these individuals going forward also maintain your distance,” she posted on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, October 14. “If you wish to associate with treacherous individuals, you will not be a friend of mine.”

Taylor further stated in a subsequent message, “I am not the kind of individual to overlook matters, I

I will overcome and proceed after I confront them. The issue lies in the MANNER in which it was carried out, rather than the ACTION itself.”

Taylor subsequently chose to illustrate how the woman “had never truly been her friend” initially.

“This [is] my expression signaling for help because she would not release me,” Taylor penned, sharing an old photograph of the two women in a large van, attired in western-inspired outfits. “She repeatedly attempted to embrace and kiss me … claiming she simply adored me, though I surmise she doesn't truly know me.”

Taylor continued, “Once more, my expression [conveys,] ‘Is this over?’ Unable to have me, you pursued a less challenging objective. We are not friends because I was more discerning. Farewell, girl.”

Taylor additionally posted numerous screenshots depicting the unnamed woman sending her several direct messages, requesting to socialize and commemorate the reality television personality's birthday. This individual also purportedly forwarded Taylor a link to a post by fellow influencer Cassy Marie concerning single parenthood. Cassy has since clarified that she is not the adversarial friend being referred to.

“Listen, this is NOT me,” Cassy declared on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, October 15. “Another person shared one of my posts with her. She is speaking about someone who is NOT me. I genuinely have no understanding of this situation. Please DO not send me direct messages insulting me.”

Cassy emphasized further that she has “never had any contact whatsoever” with Taylor.

“I am being inundated [online] without cause,” Cassy stated. “I have no idea what this whole matter entails. I have never engaged in any dialogue with Taylor.”

Dakota Mortensen Responds to Former Partner Taylor Frankie Paul Being Chosen for The Bachelorette

Taylor and Dakota permanently concluded their tumultuous relationship in late 2024, just prior to the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personality being designated as the forthcoming Bachelorette.

“I haven't verified it with him. It simply hasn't been, like, a top concern for me to discuss with him,” Taylor exclusively informed Us Weekly in September, elaborating on whether Dakota was aware of her discussions to distribute roses on the reality dating series. “I'm unsure precisely how he will respond or perceive it, but he is aware that we agreed to explore relationships with other individuals. He will likely feel disheartened. I imagine his thought process might be, ‘Wow, she will be dating many people, and also, in my view,’ and that will probably be somewhat difficult to observe.”

Dakota has since asserted in several online messages that he wishes Taylor well.
