“My sister stands as my foremost confidante and collaborator,” Barbara, 43, revealed within Deborah Roberts’ recently released book, Sisters Loved and Treasured: Stories of Unbreakable Bonds. “I envision us cohabiting as we enter our golden years.”
Jenna, also 43, corroborated, stating, “That is indeed our aspiration.”
Despite being the elder by sixty seconds, Barbara readily commends Jenna as “the companion who consistently remained by my side.”

It's the sole reason tears aren't flowing at this moment. … We perpetually hold onto this vision: we'll simply share a modest dwelling, accompanied by 37 felines, an extensive library, excellent cuisine, and regular brisk walks.”

From infancy, they were observed engaging in shared babbling,” Roberts, 65, revealed in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly at the American Ballet Theatre 2025 Fall Gala on Wednesday, October 22. “Their mutual comprehension operates on an entirely different plane. This aspect alone struck me as both singular and compelling.”
Roberts furthermore expressed admiration that Barbara, Jenna, and the other featured sisters consciously prioritized maintaining their ties, regardless of life's demands.
“Many individuals endeavor to sustain connections as they mature,” she commented, “but a diligently nurtured and cherished relationship will unequivocally enhance one's existence in countless dimensions.”
