Beckham Family Drama Intensifies as Brooklyn and Nicola Share Christmas Message

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have shared a message with their followers as speculation regarding a disagreement with Victoria and David Beckham continues to intensify.

On Friday, December 26, Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, posted a joint image, showcasing their Christmas celebration alongside Nicola’s family.

“We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness,” they captioned the carousel of photos.

The series of images showed the couple embracing each other in matching Christmas attire as they posed in front of a festively decorated Christmas tree.

Several other images in the collection displayed the couple posing with Nicola’s parents, Nelson Peltz, 83, and Claudia Heffner Peltz, 70.

The public appearance of Nicola’s parents on the couple’s Instagram seemed to highlight the noticeable absence of David, 50, and Victoria, 51, even further for followers.

“Why don’t you show affection to the Beckham family?” one person questioned in the comments section, while another wrote, “I’m surprised you haven’t dropped the surname Beckham because you were all quick to exclude the Beckhams.”

The post comes less than a week after Cruz Beckham, 20, alleged his older brother Brooklyn had blocked their parents as well as him. (David and Victoria also share son Romeo, 23, and daughter Harper, 14.)

Following reports that emerged on December 20 that the former footballer and Spice Girl had “stopped following” Brooklyn, Cruz refuted the accusations.

“NOT TRUE,” Cruz wrote alongside a screenshot of Daily Mail’s coverage of the family dispute. “My mum and dad would never cease following their son.. let’s ensure we have the correct information. They woke up unable to access their accounts … as did I.”

In May, David hosted several events to celebrate turning 50, but Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent for the significant milestone birthday. A source subsequently told Us in October that Brooklyn was not interested in repairing his relationship with his family.

“Brooklyn has no desire to mend things at this time,” the insider shared. “He’s truly focused on enjoying a tranquil, drama-free life with Nicola. They’ve created their own world together and are very content. They want to allow things to settle naturally rather than attempting to resolve something that still feels strained.”

Us learned that there is still “a considerable divide in the family” that has extended to Brooklyn experiencing a falling out with his younger brothers.

“The relationships are all still tense,” a source revealed to Us.

When David was knighted by King Charles in November at Windsor Castle, Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen. Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper all attended the ceremony to support David.

Brooklyn and Nicola also skipped the premiere of Victoria’s Netflix documentary in October, while the rest of the Beckham family posed together on the red carpet.

The couple initially encountered issues with his family prior to – and during – their 2022 wedding. The bride notably did not select her fashion-forward mother-in-law to design her gown, and it was later reported that Nicola left her reception in tears after performer Marc Anthony complimented Victoria as the “most beautiful woman in the room.”
