Ben Higgins Weighs In on Alix Earle and Tom Brady Romance Speculation
Ben Higgins expressed some reservations regarding the speculated relationship between Alix Earle and Tom Brady.
“I believe it’s not ideal,” the former Bachelor, 36, stated about Earle, 25, and Brady’s recent outings to his cohost Ashley Iaconetti during the Tuesday, January 6, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Almost Famous” podcast.
Iaconetti, 37, inquired if it was due to Earle being “considerably younger” compared to Brady, 48. (Brady and Earle have a 23-year age disparity.)
“Yes, but I think that’s becoming acceptable now, I think it feels peculiar to me,” Higgins responded. “It feels like a headline grabber whenever news emerges of someone dating, I feel uncomfortable because I simply don’t appreciate the notion of spending time or dating someone solely for the purpose of generating a headline.”

Iaconetti suggested she could understand Earle’s “motivation” given that the influencer recently experienced a breakup from Braxton Berrios.
“Can’t they simply be two attractive individuals and say, ‘Let’s spend time together on a boat? We would have done this, headlines or not,’” Iaconetti said.
Higgins quipped, “That’s been the human experience throughout history.”
While Higgins doesn’t know “enough” about Brady and Earle’s situation, he hopes their dynamic is genuine rather than contrived.
“I don’t know enough to form a judgment beyond the fact that if they are doing it because it is a headline then it feels like the most superficial way to objectify someone else,” he explained. “However, if they’re both consenting to it and they’re still in St. Barths enjoying their yacht life, go for it, Alix. Go for it Tom.”
One aspect Higgins dislikes is the age difference between the pair, as he pondered if Earle is close in age to Brady’s children. (The former football player is the father of son Jack, 17, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, and son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.)
“That’s where it becomes unsettling for me,” he said of the duo’s age gap, speculating that either of his teenage sons might be familiar with Earle. “And suddenly your dad shows up with her, and you’re like, ‘Oh goodness.’”
Earle and Brady were observed together celebrating the new year at a nightclub in St. Barths.
“Alix and Tom were together the entire evening on New Year’s Eve celebrating at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Barths,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, January 2. “They were introduced through mutual acquaintances who were also in St. Barths and had an immediate connection. There was considerable chemistry between them.”

The insider clarified that Earle isn’t seeking “anything serious” following her December 2025 separation from Berrios.
Earle subtly addressed her night out with Brady on social media as she reflected on the evening.
“Rumor has it we’re still dancing 🕺🕺 new friends, new memories, and new beginnings to kick off the new year :)” Earle captioned the Instagram post, seemingly referencing the rumors surrounding her and Brady on the dance floor. “Words can’t describe how wonderful this trip was, so grateful to @bgarlinghouse & @taragarlinghouse for hosting us & @managermyles for throwing the best nye party EVER!!!”
