Despite their amiable post-divorce interactions, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have no intentions of resuming their romance.

Affleck and Lopez, aged 56, made their first public appearance together since their divorce was finalized at the premiere of Lopez's new starring vehicle, Kiss of the Spider Woman, on Monday, October 6. The former couple radiated happiness as they posed for photographs on the red carpet. Observers also noted Affleck and Lopez sharing a lighthearted moment before entering the screening.
Lopez captivated in a bespoke Harris Reed gown adorned with earthy floral patterns. Her hair was elegantly swept up, revealing delicate earrings. She accessorized her ensemble with HASSANZADEH jewelry. Affleck chose a classic blue suit paired with a crisp white button-up shirt.

Per a source, Affleck attended the Kiss of the Spider Woman premiere due to his role as a producer for the film.
"Nothing romantic is occurring between them. His attendance was due to his producer credit," the insider clarified.
Artist's Equity, the production company co-founded by Affleck and his close friend Matt Damon, was behind the film version of the Broadway musical. During the event, Affleck discussed his motivation for engaging with the project in an interview with Extra.
"Matt Damon and I established this company with the aim of financing films," he informed the publication. "Our goal wasn't to produce only predictable movies or those everyone else would make. We are genuinely committed to supporting artists who take chances and want to invest in truly talented individuals, so as a financier and producer, this film perfectly aligns with our cinematic objectives. Affleck additionally praised his former spouse's "outstanding" portrayal.
