Blac Chyna Admits Financial Incentives Drove Her Explicit OnlyFans Content

Angela White, known as Blac Chyna, admits financial incentives heavily influenced her time on OnlyFans.

The 37-year-old personality discussed the “insatiable desire for more” she felt while generating content on the service, as revealed in the FOX special TMZ Presents: The War Over OnlyFans, which first aired on Tuesday, September 2.

“It became a constant cycle of ‘I want more, I want more, I want more,’ even though I didn’t truly require it,” explained Chyna (whose birth name is Angela White). “I understood that sharing private messages with less clothing would result in greater income.”

White further noted that numerous women join OnlyFans with the intention of only sharing pictures in swimwear, but the frequently profitable site often draws content creators into more explicit territory.

"Subscribers will consistently demand more content. They desire to see increasingly explicit material," she stated regarding OnlyFans users, subsequently declaring, "OnlyFans offers absolutely no long-term prospects."

The former star of Rob & Chyna produced content for OnlyFans between April 2020 and March 2023. Although reports in 2023 suggested Chyna earned $240 million from the service, she corrected this figure in a Forbes interview, stating her earnings were closer to $2 million.

“I launched my account because I was thinking, ‘Oh my goodness. What’s going to unfold?’ Plus, I had recently been involved with a television program named Only Cams, where I contributed to its production and appeared briefly,” Chyna elaborated.

White confessed that she “initially hesitated,” but she was concurrently “navigating numerous legal battles.” In 2017, Chyna initiated a $100 million defamation case targeting Kris Jenner and her children Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. A jury ruled in favor of the Kardashian-Jenner family in 2022. Furthermore, Chyna and her former partner Rob Kardashian engaged in legal disputes regarding revenge porn and assault allegations, both of which reached a settlement in 2022.

“Beyond those concerns, I thought, ‘I must find a way to maintain my residence, support my children, and manage all my responsibilities.’ That’s what prompted me to join OnlyFans,” Chyna, who is mother to 12-year-old son King Cairo with ex-boyfriend Tyga and 8-year-old daughter Dream with Rob, 38, further stated.

Deconstructing the Earnings of Celebrities and Influencers on OnlyFans

"I am no longer active on OnlyFans; I have moved beyond that phase," Chyna informed Daily Mail in March 2023, subsequent to her departure from the subscription platform. "It was a situation where I undertook what was necessary at that specific time due to my prevailing conditions."

White further explained, “Moreover, given my baptism, such activities are not in alignment with divine will. It feels somewhat demeaning. Presently, I am guided by my spiritual beliefs. I am no longer operating according to the ‘Blac Chyna’ persona or ‘Angela’s’ former path. I intend to allow God to direct me. I reflected, ‘Let me introspect and identify where I might be erring,’ because clearly, some aspect of my actions is incorrect, even if I perceive it otherwise. Now, I am striving to act correctly to the best of my capacity, aiming for personal completeness.”
