Flay addressed his involvement with Williamson publicly for the inaugural time in an interview featured in People on June 3.
“Firstly, Brooke and I have maintained a friendship for an extensive period,” he disclosed to the publication. “That is to say, we have been friends for quite some time, and thus we filmed this series prior to commencing our official romantic relationship. Consequently, for me, things have largely remained consistent.”
He added, “She has essentially participated in the program since its commencement. Therefore, her presence has consistently been enjoyable due to our friendship, but moving forward, the dynamic has subtly shifted. We await what this evolution may entail.”
Flay enthused that he and Williamson share “numerous commonalities,” such as their respective careers as chefs and their roles as parents.
