Bozoma Saint John Finds New Love and Announces Engagement After Overcoming Heartbreak

Bozoma Saint John, a prominent figure from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Keely Watson have announced their engagement.

“This engagement serves as my personal testament: demonstrating that it's possible to overcome sorrow, rediscover happiness, and still encounter a love deserving of your 'yes,'” the 48-year-old Bozoma shared with People as she revealed her engagement on Wednesday, September 3. “Keely exemplifies that divine timing is impeccable, as is His master plan. I am embracing life, love, and the wonder of new beginnings."

Boz confessed to the publication that the proposal caught her "completely off guard."

“While I was aware of our mutual desire to marry, I remained uncertain of the specific location or moment Keely would propose,” she enthused. “I am still processing the surprise and can hardly believe it. A wave of nervousness washed over me, as I had envisioned remaining composed during the proposal, but my heightened emotions made that nearly impossible to achieve."

The prominent Bravo personality celebrated her engagement surrounded by a circle of cherished family members and friends at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood towards the end of last month.

“I arranged for more than 14 dozen roses and presented her with an enormous bouquet of 100 roses,” Keeley described his elaborate preparations for the proposal. “I adorned the path with a red carpet and luminous candles, and constructed a red-draped canopy as the backdrop for my proposal. The area surrounding the canopy was further embellished with additional roses and candles."

Viewers gained insight into Boz's romance with Keeley during the 14th season of RHOBH, which aired in the previous year. In a December 2024 episode, Boz disclosed that the pair had been dating for eight months, having been introduced by Keeley’s nephew.

“My primary goal was to ensure the element of surprise, which required extensive planning and coordination from my end, with invaluable assistance from her daughter, Lael, and her assistant, Nico,” Keeley informed People on Wednesday.

Boz is the mother of 16-year-old Lael, from her marriage to her late husband, Peter Saint John. Boz and Peter had been wed for ten years prior to their separation. Tragically, he received a cancer diagnosis soon after their split and passed away in December 2013.

In a February installment of RHOBH, Boz disclosed a previous pregnancy loss and a diagnosis of preeclampsia. She has also openly discussed with audiences her desire to conceive a child with Keeley, notwithstanding her challenges with fertility.

“This journey toward pregnancy was once just a concept, but now it’s become a tangible reality. The prospect of undergoing needle injections makes it intensely real,” Boz commented during the program. “I was initially very enthusiastic, but now I’m experiencing apprehension. I feel fearful. What if the outcomes aren't what we hope for?”
