Brady and Bündchen Navigate Holidays Following Weddings and New Beginnings
Tom Brady initiated his Christmas Eve festivities by playing golf with his son Jack – just weeks after his former wife, Gisele Bündchen, had a secret wedding to Joaquim Valente.
Brady, 48, shared photos on Instagram Wednesday, December 24, of him and his 18-year-old son, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, at the Bakers Bay Golf and Ocean Club in the Bahamas. The retired NFL quarterback, who also has sons Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with Bündchen, 45, removed his shirt as he enjoyed the holiday outing with his eldest.
“Merry Xmas eve,” Brady captioned the post showcasing their getaway.
Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that Bündchen and Valente, 38, are officially married. The couple began dating nearly a year after Bündchen and Brady finalized their divorce. The supermodel and Valente subsequently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy whose name has not been made public, in February.

“This is the first time I’ve connected with someone who was a friend of mine initially,” Bündchen told The New York Times in March 2024 regarding her relationship with Valente. “It’s quite different. It’s very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
At the time, Bündchen clarified that she started dating Valente after her marriage to Brady concluded, adding, “That is a falsehood. This is something that happens to many women who are blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful.”
She continued: “They have to cope with their communities. They have to cope with their family. Naturally for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”
Brady initially garnered attention for his personal life when he dated Moynahan, 54, for over two years before they parted ways in 2006. Brady then moved on with Bündchen, and two months later, Moynahan discovered she was pregnant. Moynahan gave birth to Jack in 2007.
Brady continued to co-parent with Moynahan while expanding his family with Bündchen. After 13 years of marriage, the pair announced their decision to separate in 2022.
“We reached this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve,” Brady wrote via Instagram at the time.

Bündchen, for her part, noted at the time that she was looking forward to co-parenting with Brady, writing, “The decision to end a marriage is never straightforward but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel grateful for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
More recently, Brady reflected on his aspirations while raising his children.
“There’s certainly some challenges and there’s a lot of blessings, and I think just us as parents, we’re simply trying to help them navigate a little bit,” Brady exclusively told Us in 2024. “There’s a lot of wonderful things, a lot of things that are perhaps a little tricky, but you just have to deal with it all in the best way you can.”
He added: “I think providing them with perspective all the time is really important. They’re kids, so we’re all human. We’re all going through things, so they’re going through their own set of unique experiences and you just try to give them the right perspective on the things that you’ve experienced and that you can relate to their life.”
