Brooke Hogan's Husband Reveals Reason for Hotel Stay Amid Music Comeback and Family Estate Drama
Following Brooke Hogan's disclosure that she was residing in a hotel after her father Hulk Hogan's passing and the subsequent dispute over his will, her husband Steven Olesky is clarifying the reasons behind their current hotel lifestyle — temporarily.
“We’ve relocated to Miami. My wife has rejoined Sobe Entertainment, her former record label. She's already laid down roughly 14 tracks in just 10 days,” the 39-year-old hockey professional shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Friday, September 19.
“Considering my 14 years in professional hockey and her touring schedule, this living arrangement is quite familiar to us,” he added regarding their present circumstances. “We enjoy a lovely local restaurant, and the twins and I have established a consistent daily routine.”
The couple — who exchanged vows in June 2022 — celebrated the birth of their fraternal twins, son Oliver and daughter Molly, in January 2025. The devoted father stated that he takes the twins for a stroll nightly at 5:00 PM, allowing Brooke, 37, to concentrate on her musical endeavors.

“She’s been dedicating extensive hours. Some evenings have stretched until 3:00-4:00 a.m. as she strives to complete as much music as she can,” Olesky informed Us, noting that his spouse is “collaborating with some fantastic individuals.”
This relocation to Miami and renewed commitment to her music follows Us’s confirmation that Brooke was excluded from her deceased father’s last will and testament. (Hulk, whose birth name was Terry Bolleo, passed away on July 24 at 71 from a heart attack.)
Court records submitted by her brother, Nike Hogan, and acquired by Us then, indicate that Brooke is not named as a recipient of her father’s $5 million fortune.
“His choice doesn’t come as a shock,” Brooke conveyed to TMZ regarding her father’s pre-death decision to omit her as an heir. “It’s exactly what I requested, and I uphold that choice without any reservations.”
Brooke — born Brooke Ellen Bollea — launched her musical journey in the early 2000s, unveiling her first single, “Everything to Me,” in 2004. This track achieved the top spot on Billboard’s single sales charts on two separate occasions.

Subsequently, she released her inaugural album, Undiscovered, in 2006, ultimately selling more than half a million copies. She eventually toured alongside major music artists, such as Hilary Duff and the Backstreet Boys.
In 2018, Brooke ventured into country music, launching her album, So Many Summers, that April.
“This is her genuine love and calling, and she has been absent from it due to circumstances beyond her influence,” Olesky commented on his wife’s music career. “[She is] eager to present fans with fresh material, and the new songs showcase her versatility.”
