Candace Cameron Bure Celebrates Son Lev's Journey into Ministry

Candace Cameron Bure is showing her support for her eldest son, Lev, as he begins a new chapter pursuing a vocation in ministry.

“Lev delivered a message this morning,” Cameron Bure, 49, wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday, December 29, alongside a photograph of Lev, 25, speaking to an audience from a platform. “Abide in me Jesus.”

Cameron Bure also shared a video clip of Lev delivering a passionate church sermon.

“We haven’t earned it. He loves us not because we deserve it, but because he is a good, perfect God.” Lev told the crowd.

At the conclusion of his speech, Cameron Bure responded aloud, “Amen.”

Cameron Bure shares Lev with her husband, Valeri Bure. The couple are also parents to daughter Natasha, 27, and son Maksim, 23.

Lev’s new path comes three years after he received a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies. Before his work centered on his faith, Lev was involved with the family business, Bure Family Wines, which Cameron Bure and Bure established in 2006.

“Lev works for our family business full time,” Cameron Bure said in a December 2021 interview with TBN. “He resides in Napa Valley … and he’s also completing his third year at Liberty University, which he does online.”

Last year, Lev married his wife, Elliot, after announcing their engagement in November 2023.

“I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Lev Bure 💍 ♥️,” Cameron Bure wrote on Instagram in January 2024 alongside a picture of her and her family posing with the newlyweds. “Words cannot express the happiness we have felt this weekend celebrating the marriage of our son and his bride, Elliott.”

The Full House alumna continued, “We’ve welcomed a beautiful daughter and a wonderful family to share life with. I feel an overwhelming sense of love, joy, peace, and contentment thanks to God’s blessing of family and friendship. My heart is overflowing ♥️♥️♥️.”

Earlier this year, Lev appeared on Cameron Bure’s podcast, where she revealed that Lev helped her and Valeri navigate a difficult period years ago.

“I believe it came from a place of love. Even when my siblings and I discussed it, it was like, ‘More than anything, we want our parents to be together.’ But, to be honest, it would only happen through Jesus,’” Lev recalled during the July episode of the “Candace Cameron Bure” podcast. “That was all we could direct them to.”

Cameron Bure mentioned that Lev gave her and Valeri a “45-minute sermon on marriage.”

“He said, ‘You know, I haven’t been married. I’m just a young man. And so, it might be difficult to take marriage advice from someone who hasn’t experienced it. But I don’t need to be married to know what the word of God says,’” Cameron Bure recalled, adding that her son spoke with “a calm voice that held so much wisdom.”

Cameron Bure and Valeri “left” the conversation with a renewed perspective and appreciation for their family.
