"I tend to be quite theatrical," the 32-year-old artist, Cardi, revealed regarding her decision to take down photos of herself and Diggs during her interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast on Wednesday, September 24. "I'm dramatic. What might seem significant to others often isn't a major concern for me in that instant."
Cardi clarified that she didn't "permanently erase" the images, but instead moved them to an archived section of her social media profile.
"It evolved into something it wasn't," the artist further explained. "However, I am prone to dramatics."

Cardi admitted she "couldn't recall" the initial incident that prompted her to take down the photos, but suspected it was "incredibly trivial." She also recounted Diggs' response to the unfolding situation.
"He questioned, 'Why would you do something like that?'" she reminisced. "It's the kind of thing we find humorous now, because it's like, 'Why would you do that? Look, now everyone's claiming it's because your posterior is ample.'"
Whispers of Cardi's romance with the 31-year-old NFL player, Diggs, began circulating late last year, following her divorce filing from her separated husband, Offset. Cardi officially unveiled their relationship this past June, posting various pictures of them together online. Nevertheless, she ignited breakup speculation by subsequently deleting those images.
"There's a baseless claim circulating that my boyfriend supposedly ended things because my BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) emits an odor, and honestly, given how this posterior is appreciated, that simply isn't possible," Cardi playfully remarked later in the podcast. She elaborated, "How could a BBL emit an odor if there are no open wounds? Is it because your rear end is larger? Are you implying one cannot clean a fuller bottom? Are you unaware of how to cleanse a voluptuous posterior? I certainly am. And let me assure you, if one engages in certain activities, I also possess the knowledge to manage hygiene effectively, so don't even try to challenge me on that."
