Following two months of initial speculation regarding their separation, Jessica Simpson confirmed that she and Eric Johnson were ending their marriage of a decade. “Eric and I have been residing apart while addressing a difficult period in our marital relationship,” she disclosed to Us Weekly in a statement dated January 13. “Our offspring are our primary concern, and we are prioritizing their welfare. We extend our gratitude for the outpouring of affection and encouragement, and request discretion at this time as we navigate this transition as a household.”

The former couple exchanged vows in 2014 and are parents to Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie. Merely two days prior to revealing their separation, Simpson relisted her Los Angeles residence on the property market with an asking price of $17.9 million.

Concurrently, reports emerged on January 8 confirming that Jessica Alba and Cash Warren had parted ways following 16 years of matrimony. Alba was in her ninth month of pregnancy with their first child, daughter Honor, when they exchanged vows in 2008.
