Just after the turn of the New Year, Zendaya ignited rumors of an impending engagement as she appeared on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet, conspicuously sporting a ring on her left ring finger. During the awards ceremony itself on January 5, the esteemed Challengers actress maintained the piece of jewelry while posing for photographs, even as she removed her Bulgari necklace.
These whispers intensified following a report by the Los Angeles Times, which noted Zendaya "repeatedly displayed her ring, offered a knowing smile, and gestured ambiguously" when questioned about her romantic involvement with Tom Holland. (Holland was not present at the event.)
The very next day, an insider confirmed to Us Weekly that Holland had indeed proposed to Zendaya, years after their initial encounter on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016.
