Chanel Ayan's Shocking Shep Rose and Paige DeSorbo Romance Suggestion Sparks Drama
The Real Housewives of Dubai alum Chanel Ayan proposed a potential new romantic interest for Shep Rose — a suggestion that could prove quite awkward.
During an interview for Bravo's social media channels at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Chanel, 47, questioned, “What’s happening with all the Bravo guys? Everyone seems unattached.” She then added, “Are you familiar with Paige [DeSorbo]? You ought to consider dating Paige, she’s quite attractive.”
Shep, 45, confirmed he was “naturally” acquainted with Paige, 33.
“Are you serious?” Shep reacted strongly, leading Tom Schwartz of The Valley to describe the concept as “a self-destructive endeavor.”

For three years, Paige was in a relationship with Craig Conover, Shep’s close friend and fellow Southern Charm cast member, until their separation in 2024.
“Absolutely not,” Shep declared during his red carpet discussion at BravoCon. “She was romantically involved with my closest friend, and besides, she wouldn't tolerate me or be able to handle my personality.”
Chanel expressed genuine shock regarding Shep and Paige’s past connection, stating, “Oh, my, I wasn’t aware.”
At another point during BravoCon, Shep disclosed the extent of his animosity towards Paige, the ex-star of Summer House.
“They exploited reality television to earn millions. And then she ended their relationship on her podcast,” Shep stated in a video clip released by Page Six previously this week, claiming their romance was “a fabrication from the start.”
Shep further speculated on the increase in Paige’s “followers” after their separation.

Bravo offered no statement concerning the footage, yet Shep also opted to “kill” Paige during a round of “Shag, Marry, Kill” on Watch What Happens Live.
Both Paige and Craig, 36, have since addressed Shep’s widely circulated outburst.
“My assistant informed me of it earlier today,” Craig shared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live on Wednesday, November 19. “I intentionally stated, ‘I prefer not to watch it.’ I understand the general gist, but I wasn’t present. I believe I’m upset because it involved both my and Paige’s names.”
He proceeded, “It appears that was a significant subject, but honestly, I had only positive remarks about her, and it wasn't related to us at all.”
Regarding Paige, she reacted to an Instagram fan account’s comments on the vehement criticism.
“Perhaps I could offer him some if necessary?” Paige retorted, alluding to Shep’s assertions that her social media audience expanded following the separation.

Paige and Craig have both since moved on. Us Weekly reported exclusively in July that Paige recently began a relationship with Joe D’Amelio.
“Paige has been discreetly seeing Joe D’Amelio for some time, and their relationship is progressing very positively,” an insider exclusively informed Us. “It took several months for Paige to feel comfortable entering another relationship, but she has progressed beyond Craig and is truly content.”

Craig, on his end, had a brief romantic involvement with Natalie Buffett before they parted ways this past summer.
“I was involved with a truly wonderful woman,” Craig mentioned on “The Toast” podcast in June. “I simply wasn't prepared for dating, but I hadn't realized it. There isn't a manual for these situations.”
