Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Finalize Divorce Agreement After Protracted Magic Mike Earnings Dispute
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have disclosed the specifics of their divorce agreement through court filings, as exclusively reported by Us Weekly.
On Wednesday, November 26, Tatum, aged 45, and Dewan, aged 44, submitted legal papers to formalize the conditions of their November 2024 agreement. (The former couple married in 2009, separated in April 2018, and were officially divorced in 2019. Tatum and Dewan are parents to a daughter named Everly, for whom they promptly established joint custody. Their financial arrangement was finalized merely weeks prior to their scheduled court appearance in Los Angeles.)
The particulars of the agreement had been kept confidential until this point.
According to the recent submission, Dewan is set to receive approximately half of Tatum’s Screen Actors Guild producers’ pension funds accumulated during their marital union. Concurrently, Tatum will be allocated an identical share from Dewan’s SAG producers’ pension plan.

Dewan's producing credits include the 2023 television film, Devil on My Doorstep, the series Step Up: High Water, adapted from her popular movie Step Up, and several other ventures. Tatum, meanwhile, has produced the highly successful Magic Mike series, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Blink Twice, Roofman, and numerous other cinematic works.
The protracted divorce proceedings extended over several years, primarily stalled by disputes over the Magic Mike earnings. Dewan contended that she was instrumental in developing the Magic Mike brand, which encompasses two follow-up films, a live performance in Las Vegas, an HBO reality series, and multiple licensing agreements utilizing the Magic Mike moniker.
Dewan was of the opinion that she was entitled to 50% of the revenues. Tatum disagreed with this assertion.
Throughout the legal dispute, both Dewan’s fiancé, Steve Kazee, and Tatum’s production collaborator, Steven Soderbergh, the director of Magic Mike, were identified as possible witnesses for the proceedings.
Prior to reaching the settlement, Dewan alleged that Tatum had not provided all relevant financial records pertaining to Magic Mike.
Tatum submitted a statement asserting that Dewan was prolonging the divorce process.
He declared he had made “extensive attempts to resolve all aspects of this case without recourse to legal action.”

The performer stated, “I have presented countless proposals for resolution, participated in multiple mediation sessions, my legal representatives have drafted numerous judgment outlines, and I have endeavored to settle matters with [Dewan].”
He further explained, “Although certain matters have been settled, the most crucial financial aspects of the litigation persist unsettled because [Dewan] consistently postpones resolution and offers a continuous stream of justifications for why this case cannot conclude.”
Tatum informed the court that he did not deem Dewan eligible for alimony.

“I am aware that [Dewan] plans to pursue alimony from me during the trial. I do not find [Dewan’s] demand for spousal support to be justified. Our marriage lasted a short period of eight years and eight months, and we parted ways more than six years ago,” he declared. Tatum highlighted that Dewan had commenced a new relationship with Kazee, with whom she shares two offspring.
In the August 2024 submission, Tatum mentioned, “They have maintained their engagement for over four years.”
Dewan and Kazee remain engaged.
In February, Dewan disclosed that her mother was urging her to “accelerate” the wedding preparations. “We’re moving at a leisurely pace, like two small turtles,” she shared with People. “My mom keeps asking, ‘Can you quicken things, Jen?’ But coordinating everything involves many calendars and precise timings.”
Tatum subsequently began a relationship with Zoë Kravitz in 2021, and they became engaged in 2023, though their union concluded in October 2024. He is presently involved with model Inka Williams. Tatum and Williams, who is 26, were initially seen together at an event preceding the Oscars in March.
