Chickenfry's TikTok Response Fuels Speculation About Zach Bryan's Bride

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia appears to have a message for her former boyfriend Zach Bryan following his marriage to someone who bears a striking resemblance to her.

“Check mate: I couldn’t possibly lose,” LaPaglia, 26, lip-synced to Taylor Swift’s “Mastermind” in a Friday, January 2, TikTok video.

When the influencer offered no further explanation, LaPaglia’s social media followers began to speculate that the cryptic post was a subtle jab at Bryan, 29, and his new wife, Samantha Leonard.

“Bri is safe from what would have been the worst decision ever,” one TikTok user wrote, with another adding, “You can replicate the recipe, but the final flavor won’t be the same.”

A third fan commented, “Everything you’ve done has led to growth and success, and he still tries to contact you; you’ve escaped, checkmate – you were never meant to be defeated.”

Bryan, who has been romantically linked to Leonard since summer 2025, revealed their surprise wedding on New Year’s Eve.

“Tougher than anything else,” Bryan wrote via Instagram, sharing wedding photos from their ceremony in Spain.

While Bryan and Leonard have not shared details about the beginning of their relationship, many fans have noticed the strong similarities between his new bride and LaPaglia. The comparisons haven't escaped the Barstool Sports personality either.

“The next question is [one] that I’ve been asked countless times. ‘What do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking so much like you?’” LaPaglia said during an October 2025 episode of her “Plan Bri Uncut” podcast. “I believe that’s a classic example of narcissistic behavior. That’s what narcissists do; they simply find another version of you to be with.”

She continued, “People ask me, ‘Are you disturbed? Are you angry? Are you flattered?’ I’m flattered, to be honest. I dyed my hair so that people [would] stop sending me every picture he posts of her, and I’ve blocked him. I don’t want to see this [and] I don’t want to engage in anything he does.”

According to the Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 4 finalist, there are only rare occasions when she learns about Bryan’s life after their split.

“He only comes across my attention when he, like, jumps over fences or talks about ICE … when he’s in the news,” LaPaglia said. “I have him blocked on everything, so I only see articles when they appear on my [TikTok] For You Page, but his [new girlfriend] looking exactly like me is still quite remarkable.”

She concluded, “I’m just so relieved he’s not near me – just near my duplicate. Sorry, I have to say it. Your new girl is my duplicate.”

LaPaglia dated Bryan from summer 2023 to fall 2024, later accusing the singer of emotional abuse. Bryan never responded to the accusations. Us Weekly reached out for comment at the time.

Bryan was the one who initially announced his breakup from LaPaglia, stating that the pair separated amicably.

“Brianna and I have decided to go our separate ways, and I respect and love her with all my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a long time, and for that, I will always be grateful to her,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October 2024. “I’ve been going through a very difficult year personally and have struggled with some serious issues. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to pursue different paths. I am not perfect and never will be.”
