You're perfect as you are.’ This sentiment empowers me, allowing me to recognize, ‘I can embrace myself fully. Your love for me is so complete that I feel no pressure to change, yet paradoxically, it inspires me to do so.’”
Metz’s discussion of her romantic life emerged naturally as she and host Oliver Hudson explored the concept of self-compassion across various life domains.
“My partner is a dedicated weightlifter with remarkable consistency. He also served in the Nigerian Navy, which stands in stark contrast to my less structured habits,” she commented. “He operates with considerable discipline and a strict schedule.”

The acclaimed This Is Us actress shared an anecdote about her boyfriend's sister, who expressed that she “prayed for weight gain,” a sentiment that sharply contrasted with Metz's own desire to “pray for thinness.”
“The cultural norms here are remarkably distinct. And naturally, within our industry, this difference is even more pronounced,” Metz observed. “It's truly remarkable.”
In an exclusive April revelation to Us Weekly, Metz verified that she had found a new romantic partner, following her 2023 separation from ex Bradley Collins after a three-year relationship. The performer expressed immense satisfaction, stating she felt “exceptionally positive” about the direction of their romance.
