Christina Haack and Ant Anstead Reunite for Son Hudson's 'Golden Birthday' Bash

Christina Haack and Ant Anstead reunited to celebrate their son Hudson's special day.

"Hudzo declared it his 'golden birthday' since he's turning six on the sixth! What a legend!" Anstead wrote in a collaborative Instagram update with Haack, shared on Sunday, September 7. "We spent the weekend honoring our wonderful son with a lively party that left us all needing a good rest. Hudzo, we adore you."

The social media update showcased a photo of Anstead and Haack with Hudson at his birthday festivities. Several other photos from the event were also part of the carousel. One image captured Hudson and his companions collecting sweets from a piñata for their party favors. Anstead also posted a video showing Hudson's initial attempt at hitting the vibrant piñata, with his friends then taking their turns. Haack was pictured holding the piñata stick as well.

Hudson likewise posed for a picture alongside his football-themed confection. An energetic photograph captured him navigating an obstacle course.

Haack's relationship with Anstead began after her 2018 separation from Tarek El Moussa. They tied the knot in the same year and had Hudson in 2019. By the next year, Haack and Anstead announced their split, with their divorce becoming final in 2021.

In a February installment of HGTV’s The Flip Off, Haack discussed her relationship with Anstead in the period directly after their breakup.

"Ant and I parted ways when Hudson was just one year old, and he is now five. From his first birthday until his fifth, our communication was quite limited," she clarified.

Nevertheless, following Haack's separation from her most recent husband, Joshua Hall, in 2024, Anstead offered her crucial support. (Haack wed Hall in 2021, and their divorce was finalized in 2025. Anstead, meanwhile, is in a relationship with Renée Zellweger.)

"After Josh and I separated, I visited his home to collect Hudson, and he gave me a warm embrace. We hadn't hugged in years, and he expressed, 'I'm truly sorry for all you're experiencing, and I'm here for you, whatever you require,'" she recalled. "It was a truly pleasant exchange, and we engaged in an extensive conversation afterward. We chose to set aside past disagreements and focus on being effective co-parents."

Beyond Hudson, both Haack and Anstead also have children from previous relationships. Haack is mother to daughter Taylor, aged 14, and son Brayden, both with El Moussa. Ant, in turn, is the father of daughter Amelie, 21, and son Archie, 18, from his marriage to ex-wife Louise Anstead.
