Cohen Shades Frankel's TikTok Reign with "Overwhelming" Comment
Andy Cohen appears to have subtly criticized The Real Housewives of New York City alumna Bethenny Frankel as the year 2026 begins.
“I also briefly checked TikTok just to see what younger audiences were discussing regarding New Year’s Eve,” Cohen, 57, mentioned on the Monday, January 5, broadcast of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “Goodness, that margarita personality. Honestly, it was overwhelming. I couldn’t handle it.”
When guest John Hill suggested she – presumably Frankel – uploads “around 14 [videos] daily,” Cohen seemed to indicate he had stopped using the platform.
“Regardless, that was a one-time experience for me,” he shared. “She doesn’t appear on my Instagram. I’m not even sure if she has an Instagram account.”

While Cohen didn’t specifically name Frankel, BravoBabe – who initially posted the clip – was confident the remark was directed at the former Bravo personality.
In Frankel’s defense, the “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” podcast host has only posted three TikToks so far in 2026. Regarding her pre-made Skinnygirl Margaritas, Frankel sold her Skinnygirl Cocktails in 2011 for an estimated $100 million.
Ultimately, Bravo viewers are aware that Frankel has a complex history with Cohen, partly due to her involvement in the “reality television reform” movement during the summer of 2023.
Frankel – who previously starred in eight seasons of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City – advocated for reality TV performers to receive residuals for their work, similar to actors and writers. She also asserted that reality television exploits its participants.
“I can assure you that everyone at Bravo likely dislikes me, including Andy Cohen, because it’s quite personal and because they need to safeguard the system,” Frankel stated on an August 2023 episode of Rob Lowe’s “Literally!” podcast. “It’s a rather intricate situation I found myself in while also damaging connections and appearing as though I’m betraying the entity that supported me, but I supported myself. There are numerous individuals who didn’t receive support.”
In Cohen’s most recent episode of Andy Cohen Live, the radio host maintained the focus on his New Year’s Eve program with Anderson Cooper.
The close friends bid farewell to 2025 and welcomed 2026 during a live broadcast on CNN from Times Square, famously consuming a shot of tequila at the start of each hour.
In addition to the New York City ball drop, viewers were treated to a diverse selection of special guests and even a commentary from Cohen regarding former New York City mayor Eric Adams.

“Depart gracefully. We’ll adjust what we have, what you’ve left behind,” Cohen shared on live television before introducing new mayor Zohran Mamdani to the Big Apple. “Go celebrate. We’ll see you at all the gatherings. You’ve enjoyed yourself throughout four years.”
Adams, 65, later responded on X writing, “If anyone genuinely cares about him, they should advise him to seek assistance. New Yorkers aren’t laughing with him. They are worried about him. Public intoxication is an illness. He should get help.”
SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live airs Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. ET on Radio Andy (Channel 102), and at any time on the SiriusXM app.
