“Upon entering the gathering, my immediate thought was, ‘Oh, goodness, I don't recognize anyone here.’ Yet, I quickly reassured myself, ‘It's fine, I'm simply here to honor him. It's his 50th birthday after all,’” Britton recounted during a January 2023 appearance on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy. “Subsequently, as I was conversing with my friend, he peered beyond me, spotted David across the space, and remarked, ‘There's an individual here you absolutely must be introduced to.’”
