Conor McGregor and longtime love Dee Devlin marry in private Vatican ceremony.

The former UFC champion Conor McGregor exchanged vows with his longtime partner, Dee Devlin, in the Vatican City in Italy on Friday, December 12, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

“This is an extraordinarily special day, marking a lovely continuation of our journey as a couple,” the 38-year-old bride shared with Us. The 37-year-old former UFC fighter and Devlin celebrated their nuptials alongside close family and friends, particularly their four children: sons Conor Jr., aged 8, Rían, 4, and Mack, 2, along with daughter Croía, 6.

“My dreams are always grand in scale, and this day certainly lives up to that,” McGregor commented to Us regarding the ceremony. “Dee was focused on ensuring the ceremony truly embodied our affection for each other, and especially highlighted our children—the focal point of our lives. I feel eternally grateful for the blessings God has bestowed upon us.”

The pair also paid homage to their religious beliefs by holding their vow exchange within the Holy See.

“Our family maintains a profound dedication to our religion, and no location holds more sanctity than the Vatican,” the groom elaborated. “Jesus guided me to this moment, and I remain a devoted disciple. We had previously been in discussions with Vatican staff for some time, and even had our son Rian baptized there last year. The Vatican has consistently been our preferred venue for a wedding, and we are thankful for the approval we received.”

McGregor and Devlin were also required to adhere to the Vatican’s dress code for modesty throughout the service.

“My attire was custom-made, recognizing that it needed to mirror the significance of the event,” McGregor disclosed. “Dee looked truly beautiful, and her gown was breathtaking. Naturally, we informed our guests that their attire must meet the modesty standards of the location, but once we move on to the reception, the celebration begins!”

The couple first encountered each other in Dublin in 2008 and have maintained a strong relationship in the years since.

“I encountered Dee nearly two decades ago, back when I was training to be a plumber and she was employed in a hospital. Since that day, she has continuously supported me, stood by my side, and evolved alongside me,” he expressed affectionately to Us. “Dee possesses a powerful love, and her smile and heart are truly exceptional. Today stands as the most joyous occasion of my life, as I marry the woman I’ve always dreamed of.”

McGregor offered additional details regarding why the couple waited so long before getting married.

“We dedicated the previous years to expanding our family. McGregor proposed to Devlin in August 2020, coinciding with the week of her 33rd birthday celebration.
