Country Ever After Star Criscilla Anderson Dies at 45 After Cancer Battle
Coffey Anderson is grieving following the passing of his former partner, Criscilla Anderson.
The star of Netflix’s Country Ever After passed away at 45 in December 2025, after a battle with colon cancer.
“My cherished community, if you are seeing this, I have peacefully ascended to be with Jesus — serene and embraced by affection,” Criscilla conveyed on Instagram then. “Kindly do not dwell on the sorrow of this occasion. I battled fiercely and cherished profoundly. I haven't departed… I am where I belong.”
Criscilla added, “To my relatives…I appreciate your unwavering affection. Do look after each other — my fondness remains with you.”

Coffey and Criscilla tied the knot in 2009 and had three children during their union. Even though their divorce was in progress when Criscilla passed, Coffey felt compelled to share a touching homage to his children's mother.

Criscilla received her initial colon cancer diagnosis after medical practitioners tried to perform an urgent colonoscopy. When the procedure proved impossible, specialists identified an obstructing tumor.
Criscilla stated that her children with Coffey provided her with the impetus to persist in her struggle.
“These young ones radiate such happiness and affection. They are truly the most adorable children,” she shared with People in November 2019. “When they rest their heads on my shoulder, I feel incredibly blessed to be their mother. When our family is united, all troubles dissipate.”

Criscilla and Coffey featured in a Netflix reality series named Country Ever After. Over 12 installments, cameras documented the couple managing domestic responsibilities, professional aspirations, and relational challenges.

Despite Criscilla being declared cancer-free in 2021 after treatment, the illness reemerged a year subsequent.
“The reality of cancer is that its probability of recurrence is exceptionally significant,” Criscilla conveyed to People in February 2022. “This is why it has consistently been crucial for me to not only commemorate all successes but also ready myself for an unfavorable scan, which necessitates a fresh start. It feels as though I must manage this cancer as a long-term condition.”
May 2023
Following their reported separation in 2022, both Coffey and Criscilla savored an evening without their children when they appeared at the 2023 ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas. The duo presented a complementary image, with Criscilla in a black gown and Coffey choosing a black V-neck shirt and cowboy footwear.

Assisted by her closest friend, Lindsey, Criscilla's passing was communicated through a pre-composed message on social media.
“To my offspring — my complete devotion. Ethan, you initiated my motherhood. I remain alongside you, providing encouragement,” she posted on Instagram on December 2. “Savannah, my cherished stepdaughter — you were a blessing God recognized I required. Emmarie, my devout dancer — continue to move gracefully through all periods of life. Everleigh, my brilliant light — pursue your ambitions fearlessly and with confidence.”
The following day, Coffey published his personal homage online and declared “#Cancersucks.”
“We already feel your absence. Our spirits are broken. Our thoughts are chaotic. Our existence will be forever altered. The residence is more silent due to your absence. The children are as steadfast and robust as always. We raised them well,” he conveyed on Instagram. “Therefore, dance with abandon on the celestial shore. No more suffering, no more colostomy equipment, no more nerve damage, no chemotherapy or radiation, and you may indulge in unlimited desserts without caloric concern.”
