The culinary couple was present at the annual tennis event, hosted at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Thursday, September 4. During a televised match, the camera serendipitously captured Flay, 60, and Williamson, 47, as she draped her arm around his neck and delivered a fervent kiss.

“Well, first off, Brooke and I have been friends for ages,” he shared with People in June. “I mean, we’ve known each other for a long time, and we filmed this series before we officially began dating. So, for me, it’s always felt quite consistent.”

Flay continued, “She’s been a part of the show virtually since its inception. So it’s always been enjoyable to have her around because of our friendship, but now moving forward, it’s a bit different. So we’ll see what that entails.”

Flay emphasized that he and the Top Chef season 14 champion “share many commonalities.”

“We’re truly fortunate,” he enthused. “We’re both chefs. We both have children. We’re both parents.”
