Curry's Sharp Rebuff to Killer Mike Over Ayesha Criticism

Stephen Curry delivered a sharp response to Killer Mike after the recording artist publicly criticized his wife, Ayesha Curry, calling her an "embarrassment" in an online comment.

"No, not you, Mike,” replied Stephen, 37. “I'm fine letting these other individuals have their moment… you're superior to that… Remain in your domain and let divine blessings continue upon me. We are flourishing over here.”

This exchange followed a comment that Killer Mike, whose birth name is Michael Render, made on a September 5 Instagram video from artist Bookie Woodz. In his comment, he accused Ayesha, 36, of “struggling with the temptation of infidelity towards her husband” and drew a parallel to rapper GloRilla.

"My friend said she desires to be like Glo!!!” Mike wrote, which prompted the Golden State Warriors star to interject. “Honestly, Steph doesn't deserve this public humiliation. God bless him."

Stephen and Ayesha exchanged vows in 2011, having first met during their formative years. They are parents to daughters Riley, 13, and Ryan, 10, alongside sons Canon, 7, and Caius, 16 months old.

Ayesha, for her part, articulated in a February 2025 interview with People that her marital bond with Stephen takes precedence over all other aspects of her life.

“I believe for us, our connection always holds the top priority,” she stated. “Subsequently, we are parents. Since that time, the family has witnessed him secure four NBA championships and an Olympic gold medal in 2024.
