Dean McDermott Reveals Tori Spelling's Reported Monthly Income Amidst Divorce Battle
Dean McDermott has disclosed what he claims is the income of his separated wife, Tori Spelling, as their divorce proceedings continue.
A financial declaration, including income and expenses, acquired by Us Weekly, was lodged with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, September 5th, shedding fresh light on the financial situations of McDermott and Spelling over a year after Spelling initiated divorce proceedings in March 2024. Within his submitted documents, McDermott stated that his separated spouse, Spelling, earns between “$3,000 and $75,000 monthly, contingent on the specific employment.”
Though he previously enjoyed an active television career in his home country of Canada, McDermott admitted in his financial statement that “acting and production opportunities have sharply declined” over the past few years. McDermott explained that he shifted from acting to a role as an alcohol and drug counselor beginning in October 2023, bringing in $3,800 monthly. Based on the court documents filed on Friday, McDermott's expenditures each month surpass his earnings from counseling, totaling $3,980.
Elsewhere in his financial disclosure, McDermott indicated that his current partner, Lily Calo, has a monthly income of $600. The former presenter of Chopped Canada announced his relationship with Calo half a year after his separation from Spelling, following sightings of the new pair holding hands in Los Angeles in October 2023.

McDermott's legal representative revealed that he carries an overdue loan of $200,000 from City National Bank, alongside outstanding credit card balances of $2,500 owed to Capital One and $12,000 to Care Credit.
His lawyers also noted that McDermott has an additional $1,200 in overdue payments for dental work.
Separately, McDermott confirmed his current shared custody arrangement for his 8-year-old son, Beau. (Spelling and McDermott are also parents to sons Liam, 18, and Finn, 13, along with daughters Stella, 17, and Hattie, 13. McDermott has an elder son, Jack, 25, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace.)

City National initiated legal action in December 2016 concerning a $400,000 loan originated in 2012, asserting that Spelling and McDermott had failed to repay the obligation. The bank specified that it was owed $190,000 when its lawsuit was first lodged in 2016, but later informed the court in June 2025 that the total amount had surged to $395,729.82 due to accumulated interest over time.
Neither Spelling nor McDermott has yet appeared in connection with the lawsuit.
The past few years have proven tumultuous for the separated pair. McDermott publicly stated on Instagram in June 2023 that he had parted ways with Spelling, ending almost 18 years of marriage.

Spelling later initiated divorce proceedings in March 2024, stating irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. In her filing, Spelling sought spousal support and coverage of legal expenses from the court, in addition to sole physical custody of their children while proposing joint legal custody. McDermott countered by petitioning the court for spousal support from Spelling and for joint custody of their offspring.
