Denise Richards Accuses Estranged Husband Aaron Phypers of Infidelity and Abuse in Courtroom Showdown
Denise Richards is confronting Aaron Phypers’ claims of infidelity during legal proceedings.
The 54-year-old Richards attended a Los Angeles courthouse on Tuesday, October 7, in her bid to make the temporary restraining order against her estranged spouse a permanent one.
As the court session unfolded, observed by Us Weekly, an August video recording from Richards to Phypers, aged 53, was screened for the court.
“I truly believed you were my soulmate when we exchanged vows,” she stated in the recording, which ran over 11 minutes. “[Your relatives] created numerous issues, including your sister and your brother. Me, unfaithful? I witnessed the explicit images you sent and the websites you frequented.”

“I feel as though I was wedded to a stranger I never truly knew,” she went on. “I am unfamiliar with you. This is why I'm struggling so intensely. Charlie [Sheen], I understood. Every other former partner, I understood. I do not understand you. That's why this has been so incredibly difficult. That is what I must reconcile with. I don't even comprehend who you are.”
(Richards and Sheen, aged 60, were spouses between 2002 and 2006 and have two daughters, Sami, 21, and Lola, 20. Richards was featured on the reality television series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Challenge, where Reyes, 53, acts as a drill instructor for the famous contestants. Us had previously attempted to contact Reyes for a statement but received no response.
Richards’ tenure on the Fox program was brief, spanning under a single episode, as she chose to depart during the debut after a bridge descent led to the rupture of her breast implants.

In one alleged April occurrence during a return journey from Chicago, Richards stated Phypers was “compressing [my] head with such force, my back was pressed against the floor of our hotel room.”
