Did Zach Bryan and Samantha Leonard reportedly exchange vows?

Bryan, 29, was observed carrying Leonard in his arms after what appeared to be a ceremony in Spain on Wednesday, December 31, according to numerous sources and DeuxMoi. In one video shared on Instagram, the pair were seen laughing as they entered a waiting convertible before quickly departing. The country music star wore a tuxedo for the special occasion, while Leonard looked stunning in an elaborate wedding dress and held a bouquet. Both were wearing sunglasses.

A representative for Bryan did not immediately respond to Us Weekly for comment.

The day before the alleged wedding, Bryan posted a black and white photograph with his friends on Instagram, seemingly hinting at the event with lyrics from Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.”

“Tonight’s the night, let’s celebrate / I have my money, let’s spend it up (I feel),” he wrote. “Go out and enjoy it, like, ‘Oh My God!’ Jump off that sofa, let’s get this started (I feel).”

Leonard, for her part, shared a video on her Instagram Stories earlier on Wednesday showing her and Bryan disembarking from an airplane.

Bryan and Leonard were first connected in August. The singer publicly confirmed their relationship two months later when he shared a heartfelt tribute for Leonard in honor of her 28th birthday.

“From rodeo rides to all the difficulties, today is your birthday and I love you Samantha Marie,” Bryan wrote on Instagram. “To the only woman who can hike six miles in designer flats, skydive over the Alps and catch a bigger fish than me all in the same day. Hope your day was as graceful as you are.”

Bryan and Leonard’s romance followed closely on the heels of his complicated split from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. The former couple was together from the summer of 2023 to the fall of 2024.

“Brianna and I have decided to go our separate ways and I respect and love her with all my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a long time and for that, I will always be grateful to her,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October 2024. “I’ve been going through a very difficult year personally and have struggled through some serious challenges. I felt it would be beneficial for both of us to move in different directions. I am not perfect and never will be.”

LaPaglia later stated that she felt “surprised” by the breakup and subsequently alleged that Bryan was emotionally abusive. (Bryan has not addressed these accusations. Us Weekly reached out for comment at the time.)

After news emerged of Bryan’s new relationship with Leonard, LaPaglia addressed fans’ comments about her and Bryan’s new girlfriend resembling each other during an October episode of her “Plan Bri Uncut” podcast.

“The next question I received countless times is, ‘What do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking exactly like you?’” LaPaglia, 26, began. “I think that demonstrates narcissism, textbook style; that’s what narcissists do. They simply find another version of you to date.”

She continued, “People are asking, ‘Are you disturbed? Are you angry? Are you flattered?’ I am flattered, to be honest. I dyed my hair so that people would stop sending me every picture he posts of her, and I blocked him. I don’t want to see this and I don’t want to engage in anything he does.”

She added that the “only time” Bryan “appears in my life is when he, like, jumps over fences or talks about legal matters… when he’s in the news.”

LaPaglia noted that she has her ex “blocked on everything,” so information about him only reaches her through things like “articles” or when she’s browsing her TikTok For You Page.

“But his [new girlfriend] looking exactly like me is still bizarre,” she quipped.

LaPaglia claimed that every time Bryan and Leonard post a photo together, she receives direct messages asking why she reconciled with her ex, which is why she dyed her hair dark brown after previously being blonde, like Leonard.

“I cannot continuously be compared to someone. It’s exhausting,” she explained. “It’s strange and it’s odd that he’s dating a new version of me, but who cares at this point?”

Prior to his romance with LaPaglia, Bryan was married to Rose Madden from July 2020 to July 2021. He was also linked to Deb Peifer, but the pair ended their relationship in May 2023.
