Diddy's Sweet Escape Awaits: Prison Commissary Offers Holiday Treats

It seems Sean “Diddy” Combs could still enjoy some sweets this Halloween season.

The embattled 55-year-old music executive was moved to the Fort Dix federal correctional institution in New Jersey on Thursday, October 30th, where he will complete his remaining four-year term.

Based on the correctional facility’s approved shopping roster, which Us Weekly secured, Diddy will find a wide assortment of confections available for purchase during the upcoming holidays.

Timeless chocolate bars such as Snickers and Pay Day are priced at $1.50 and $1.45, respectively. A bag of chocolate-covered peanuts will be $1.60, whereas peppermint twists are $3.65, root beer barrels are $2.35, and a package of Jolly Ranchers commands a substantial $5.10.

Should he desire cookies, the confined Bad Boy Records founder can select from vanilla wafers or varieties such as coconut macaroon, strawberry creme, iced oatmeal, and classic chocolate chip, with prices ranging from $1.75 to $2.60.

The commissary at Diddy’s current prison also caters to prisoners seeking healthier alternatives, offering items like unsalted peanuts, granola mix, dill pickle pouches, Ultra Fit bars, and dates for acquisition.

For those craving savory treats, FCI Fort Dix offers its residents options including BBQ corn chips, pork rinds, Pop-Tarts, beef and cheese sticks, Doritos, among others.

Diddy also has the choice to purchase complete prepared meals.

The facility he now resides in features eggplant parmesan at $6.15, stuffed chicken at $10.85, turkey shawarma at $8.25, and penne pasta starting at $3.05.

Among the highest-priced articles on the commissary roster are a Score 7T tablet (allowing access to music, games, and emails but no internet connectivity) for $131, walking footwear for $52, and personal audio devices for $36.

Prior to this move, Diddy had been held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after his apprehension in September 2024.

On October 3, he received a 50-month prison sentence, having been found guilty in July on two counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution. Conversely, he was cleared of two sex trafficking charges and one racketeering conspiracy charge.

Diddy had entered a plea of not guilty to the allegations and was credited with one year already served against his term.

His anticipated release date is May 8, 2028, as stated on the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ official website.

Following his release, Diddy will be required to undergo five years of monitored supervision.

FCI Fort Dix, situated in New Hanover Township, is a low-security institution. This correctional facility has previously incarcerated notable figures such as The Real Housewives of New Jersey personality Joe Giudice and "Pharma Bro" Martin Shkreli.

Even though it is classified as low-security, the institution has experienced incidents of inmate violence in prior years.

Diddy Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison After Guilty Verdict in Trial

Regardless, Diddy’s legal counsel, Teny Geragos, had advocated for his client’s transfer to Fort Dix.

“To facilitate the resolution of substance abuse problems and to enhance family visits and rehabilitative initiatives, we respectfully ask the court to [strongly] advise the Bureau of Prisons that Mr. Combs should be assigned to FCI Fort Dix,” Geragos communicated in a written submission to the presiding judge.

Diddy additionally sought clemency in his personal correspondence submitted before his sentencing.

“Above all, I wish to apologize and express my profound regret for all the distress and suffering I have inflicted upon others through my actions,” his message, which Us procured on October 2, stated.

He went on to say, “I accept complete responsibility and culpability for my previous transgressions. These last two years have been the most challenging of my existence, and I hold no one accountable for my present circumstances except myself. Throughout my life, I have committed numerous errors, but I am no longer evading them. I deeply regret the harm I have caused, yet I recognize that simply saying ‘I’m sorry’ will never suffice, as these words alone cannot nullify the anguish of what has occurred.”
