Drew Sidora Cleared in Lawsuit Alleging Debt and Intimidation Tactics
The legal dispute alleging that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora utilized "intimidation tactics" to avoid paying the full amount of an outstanding debt has been dismissed, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
Court records indicate that Sidora, 40, and Claudia Gregory were set to stand trial on November 20, but the case was ultimately dropped.
Gregory and Sidora have been involved in legal proceedings for several months.
Gregory filed a complaint against Sidora in a Georgia court on February 20. Gregory asserted that she gave Sidora a loan of $23,543, which was scheduled for repayment by January. She claimed Sidora only paid back $12,543, leaving an outstanding balance of $11,500. (Drew’s lawyer JJ Poole informs Us, "Please be advised that our client, Drew Sidora, completely refutes all accusations brought forth by Claudia Gregory.")
In the lawsuit, Gregory claimed Sidora declined to pay the remaining balance and had been using "scare tactics" to "coerce" her into accepting less than the full amount owed.
Gregory submitted a purported cease and desist letter sent by Sidora’s assistant on November 9, 2024. The letter read, “Your repeated calls, text messages, and threats directed at Drew Sidora, her team, family members, and friends are unacceptable and must cease immediately.”
The letter continued, “We are aware of breaches you have committed against [the NDA]. While we will address these violations in detail once the [loan is paid off], please understand that your conduct has irreparably damaged the relationship between you and [Sidora].”
“Due to your behavior and NDA violations, Drew Sidora can no longer trust or communicate with you,” Sidora’s assistant allegedly wrote.
Gregory’s lawsuit sought $11,300 in damages.
In an alleged email from Gregory to the RHOA star, dated January 21, Gregory wrote, “If you wish to avoid a lawsuit and public embarrassment, the right decision is to pay me the $11,500 immediately. This amount is not even the total sum I’ve loaned and spent on you, so let’s settle this fairly and end it.”
She added, “I strongly advise you to do the right thing and repay me. I regret that it has come to this, but your actions have left me no choice. Your team’s advice is clearly misguided, and any reasonable person would tell you that this matter can be resolved by simply paying the amount you owe.”
Alleged text message exchanges were presented as evidence, showing Gregory requesting an update on the funds from Sidora. In one alleged text, dated April 18, Gregory asked the RHOA star, “Good morning any update on how we resolve the reminder on the loan?”
Sidora allegedly responded, “Good evening. We will discuss Monday.” Gregory texted Sidora that Monday at 10 p.m., asking her, “What happened?” to which Sidora replied, “I’m filming, but will hit you tomorrow.”
Later in the alleged text exchange, Gregory requested another update. Sidora wrote, “I wrapped at 3am and back heading to set. I wrap on this movie on Friday and will have my life back. It’s been long hours.”
Sidora’s alleged message continued, “I’m working on things to take care of you for sure.” Gregory replied, “I hope that means payment because you have no idea what I am and have been going through.”
On September 25, Sidora filed court documents denying all allegations of wrongdoing in the case. The Bravo star requested that Gregory’s suit be dismissed and that Gregory be ordered to cover Sidora’s legal expenses.
As Us previously reported, Sidora is also still finalizing her divorce from her ex, Ralph Pittman.
On November 14, Sidora revealed to Us at BravoCon2025 that Pittman is still living in the same house but occupies the basement.
“He is still in the basement. Him downstairs, still there, and we’re still going through the process,” Sidora told Us. “I was actually supposed to be in my final trial today, so this has been a very difficult, challenging day, but the judge allowed me to be here because it was so important for me to show up and be here. So I’m grateful.”
