DWTS Star Brandon Armstrong and Brylee Ivers' Whirlwind Romance and Beautiful Wedding
Professional dancer Brandon Armstrong, known for his role on Dancing With the Stars, and his spouse, Brylee Ivers, wasted no time in advancing their relationship once they connected romantically.
Armstrong, who has partnered with notable figures such as Tinashe, Jeannie Mai, Kenya Moore, and Jordin Sparks during his tenure on DWTS, first encountered his now-wife virtually at the beginning of 2021.
“My previous dates were quite uninspiring and frankly, awful,” he recounted to People magazine in March 2022. “As a joke, I downloaded a dating application tailored for members of our church, akin to Tinder. While browsing, I spotted her profile, but my shyness prevented me from sending a direct message. Consequently, I messaged her on Instagram instead, only for her to not reply.”
Ivers, on her side, explained to the publication that her initial silence was an attempt to “play it cool.” Following a month of communication, the pair embarked on their inaugural date.
Armstrong proposed in March 2022, and the couple exchanged vows in Utah just a few months later that July.
“I was overwhelmed with emotion,” Armstrong enthused to People subsequent to their wedding ceremony. “I was certain she would select a stunning gown. I didn't have strong preferences or specific expectations for her dress's appearance. My primary joy was that it was aesthetically pleasing and that she felt self-assured wearing it. The entire experience was simply wonderful!”
