Elizabeth Olsen Credits Sisters Ashley and Mary-Kate for Her "Strong" Upbringing

Elizabeth Olsen can consistently rely on the unwavering support of her older twin sisters, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.

"My sisters had to endure countless viewings of my plays and dance recitals throughout my childhood," the 36-year-old Elizabeth quipped to The Times of London in a piece published on Friday, November 28, highlighting her family's steadfast mutual backing. "Our family simply provides strong support for each other."

Elizabeth stated that Ashley and Mary-Kate, both 39, never offered her career guidance in acting. (The twin sisters famously began their journey in entertainment as young children, jointly portraying Michelle Tanner on Full House, subsequently building a media empire before reaching their sixteenth birthdays.)

"Discussing acting feels somewhat beside the point after a decade and a half in the industry," Elizabeth further remarked, informing the publication that her early years were "quite tumultuous."

"This film brought to mind the musical productions my mother introduced me to during my upbringing," Elizabeth reflected to the publication. "She presented me with all the timeless classics — Guys and Dolls, Carousel, Oklahoma! I adored them, and my passion for musicals drove me to enroll in every possible performance class."
