Emilie Kiser Returns to Social Media, Finds Solace in Community After Son's Tragic Death
Digital creator Emilie Kiser is expressing gratitude for the outpouring of solidarity she's experienced following the passing of her two-year-old son, Trigg, and her recent comeback to online platforms.
“I simply wanted to extend my deepest appreciation for the affection and encouragement shown on my latest update. I am genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness, solace, and backing,” Kiser shared through her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 23. “I am grateful that so many of you have opened up about your own journeys with sorrow and bereavement, sharing comparable situations.”
She added, “While the online world can often feel quite bleak, instances like these remind me of the immense positive impact that mutual aid and collective spirit can foster. For anyone among my followers or readers currently navigating a personal loss, I want to convey my availability and my hope that you are receiving the care and affirmation you deserve.”
In May, it was reported that Kiser’s firstborn son, Trigg, passed away after being rescued unresponsive from the family's swimming pool. By July, the Chandler Police Department had put forth a recommendation for criminal charges against Emilie’s husband, Brady Kiser, who was present at their residence when the event took place; however, a subsequent declaration from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office indicated "no reasonable prospect of conviction.”

Emilie, also mother to son Teddy with Brady, first addressed Trigg’s passing publicly in August.
“A bereavement of this scale seems indescribable,” Emilie posted on Instagram then. “I have dedicated days, weeks, months to articulating it, while also allowing myself the necessary period to process the absence of my child.”
She elaborated, “Trigg remains our precious child and closest companion. The radiance and essence he introduced to this world were vibrant, untainted, gleeful, and evident. His absence is felt every moment of every day, and moving ahead frequently feels intolerable. I never imagined we would confront such profound sorrow or the anguish of his sudden departure.”
Emilie made her comeback to TikTok on Saturday, September 20, notably wearing a pendant engraved with “Trigg.”
