Emilie Kiser Returns to TikTok, Navigating Grief Moment by Moment

After speaking publicly about the devastating drowning of her 3-year-old son Trigg, internet personality Emilie Kiser has posted her initial TikTok video.

“Hey everyone, I’m not even sure what to say,” the 26-year-old Kiser openly stated in a TikTok video published on Saturday, September 20. “It’s clearly been a while since I’ve appeared here. To be honest, I’m quite anxious at the moment. I genuinely don’t know the best way to begin this video, but I will try my hardest.”

Emilie began a break from social media in May, following the tragic drowning of Trigg, the eldest son of her and her husband Brady Kiser, in their home swimming pool. The online figure made a short comeback to her platforms last month, where she issued a detailed message regarding Trigg's death. (Emilie and Brady are also parents to Theodore, born in March.)

“I’ve missed having daily conversations with all of you,” Emilie, seen wearing a necklace with Trigg’s name, explained further on Saturday. “I truly value the community we’ve built, and I hope that by returning and sharing what I feel comfortable with, I can re-establish connections with you all and, perhaps, offer support to anyone facing comparable circumstances.”

She continued, “I’ve been absent from online for quite some time. I am simply trying my utmost daily to comprehend this, to understand my life. I am simply approaching it one day at a time. I plan to do the same with my online material.”

As per Emilie, the “preceding months have been exceptionally difficult” since Trigg’s passing.

“I won’t pretend everything is perfect, and I don’t want it to appear that way with my return to creating content,” Emilie stated. “This process is genuinely healing for me. I miss interacting with you all, but I’m uncertain what that will entirely entail. I’m unsure how much I’ll be prepared to disclose, particularly concerning my path through sorrow.”

Emilie emphasized that she is consistently “striving to assimilate everything, to the best of her ability, one day at a time.”

“I’m unsure when I’ll be prepared [to share my full ordeal],” Emilie further commented. “Should you be encountering anything comparable, I simply wish to convey my affection, my presence, and my comprehension of its difficulty.”

Emilie concluded her video by showing clips of herself tidying and arranging her home.

“I have a moment right now, so we’ll get this house in order for the upcoming week,” she finished. “I’m looking forward to it. It always feels pleasant starting the week with a tidy residence, so let’s proceed and clean together. If you wish to observe my cleaning, please continue watching.”
